Riley Banks (rileybanks) | 48 comments I review books and interview authors on my blog, and am in desperate need of a few reviewers to help out. Have over 100 books in my review pile so would ideally love to have someone I can pass some off to.

Here's the blog site. Read through some of my reviews to get an idea for my style. http://www.rileybanks.net/riley-revie...

You might also like to read my post on The Negative Side to Positive Reviews (http://www.rileybanks.net/3/post/2012...) which will give a clear indication of the types of reviews I'm looking for. Not negative reviews but honest reviews.

I review all different genres of books and often get brand new releases from publishers as well, so it's not all just Indie books.

You can either respond here or email me at riley@rileybanks.net

Riley Banks (rileybanks) | 48 comments Will do - do you have a preferred genre, and I'll email you one or two books to review?

Jacqueline Patricks (jacquelinepatricks) | 62 comments I just read your blog post about 5 star reviews and commented. You are soooo right! I can't say I'll volunteer to read as I have my own pile to get through, but I'll love to chat with you more about writing and such. Sounds like we think similarly.

Riley Banks (rileybanks) | 48 comments Know that feeling Jacqueline. Some times I feel I'm drowning in books. Once upon a time, that would have felt like a dream holiday, but now... Occasionally I find that nugget of gold that pulls me out of the mud and makes me sing.

A free bit of advice - if you want to get trade published books to review, sign up for a NetGalley account. I've read some fantastic books from there.

Jacqueline Patricks (jacquelinepatricks) | 62 comments Thanks, yeah I've looked into NetGalley. It's not so much that I want to get trade books to review, it's more about limiting my reading vs writing time. I made a resolution this year to read and review at least one new Indie author a month. I also have a process of how and whom I choose to review rather than just opening my doors wide. I've seen/heard what reviewers in your position feel like and I want to avoid that. Plus, I can be more stealthy about my reviewing. No one knows when or where I might strike. Muahahahaha! But if they get a positive review from me than they'll know they've earned it.

Riley Banks (rileybanks) | 48 comments LOL. Well said Jacqueline. I live in hopes of one day being on your strike list then!

As for my review list, I've suspended new requests at the moment until I can get through my list.
