Oh a bovine note...moo!"
Thank you for the friendly moo. As for links down the tax free waters of the Amazon? I most certainly have. Link-me-do!

Therefore I will weave you a kilt bearing the tartan of our clan (you can choose the sporran, make sure you get one that fits a walnut whip).

Andy

Can never resist a howdy and a tank.
Ohhhhhh I've got a tank story.
Dave and I lived in Uganda for about three years, in the early 2000's.
We'd go off on safari at every opportunity. Was great fun, and wonderful adventures.
I lost count of the number of derelict tanks we'd see abandoned on the sides of dirt tracks from past wars and conflicts in East Africa. They'd be stripped bare of everything but the armour plate in most cases.
Saw plenty of airplane skeletons as well....

*pout*"
Thanks for pointing that out! It would appear that I had a problem with my colon.
BTW: tank + cow = ..you'll have to read it to find out!

I'm afraid to click it now. It kept making my browser crash!"
Click it. Cliiiiicccckkkk iiiiiitttt.

But if my browser crashes, I'll be sin binning you."
I'm tempted to break the link just for the experience.

Better late than never:

You just want to get into the bottle of Welsh whiskey Will has stashed in there.
There. Now you've got a hit from Azerbaijan.
How cool does that feel?

Bakool.

I want a green one."
Then you had better marry a Campbell or Duncan.

Following directly on from The Remarkables, part two tells the continuing story of Owen Johnson and his friends, each of whom possess similarly remarkable superpowers to the otherwise ordinary teenage boy.
After embarking on a daring rescue mission to rescue his father from the clutches of the mysterious organisation known as The Remnant, Owen is jetted off to the relative safety of the Provenance. On his journey he learns the extent of his powers, as well as uncovering some alarming secrets about his past and that of his friends. He may also learn why those with powers seem so fond of giving the organisations to which they belong such peculiar names.
To celebrate its release, part one is on sale for this weekend only, priced at less than a dollar, pound or equivalent currency.

In the meantime, book one broke into the top 8000 on the Amazon.com overall charts which was a lovely surprise so thanks to all the dot commers who decided to read about the adventures of a teenage boy, his elderly next door neighbour and her brother's irate cow.

But I also wrote a book. It's called The Remarkables and I love it like any parent does their slightly deranged offspring. It's aimed at the Young Adult audience, but I've been told I've lobbed in enough action and humour that it should appeal to those also able to buy a nice bottle of shiraz. One of the characters also happens to be a cow, so you're getting your monies worth there.
When I'm not bashing away at the keyboard, I live in the middle of the UK, with my beautiful daughter and exceptional wife, along with two cats who seem to have contracted a nasty bout of verbal diarrhoea. I also dabble in a bit of educational work in healthcare settings to keep the lights on and the freezer stocked with choc ices.
So, thank you for welcoming me to the fold, I look forward to any bovine and non-bovine related questions.
