Help updating my book cover please

Before release the cover was changed, I added the book manually but would like the new cover to show. The book is Like You Read About by Mela Remington, the cover attached to the book now was never actually used in the published version of the book.

Sorry to ask, but how do I get my picture onto my profile page? I've uploaded a headshot, I can see it as a small icon in the upper left, but not on my author's page:

Hmm, I think that if you click on this link: http://www.goodreads.com/author/edit/... then you should see a box on the right hand side to upload an image. Make sure to tick the check box and add the justification in the relevant box (i.e. stating that you have the copyright, or the permissions to use the image, etc.). Then click on upload image and it should show.

These instructions, however, are based on what I see as a Librarian for an unclaimed profile, so I don't know if there are any variations for you...

I can see it on your Author profile now - it may have been a caching issue that meant it wasn't showing for you.

Down the shore New cover needed to be applied. I am not with the same small press as I was prior. I tried to change it by adding a new pic, but it wouldn't let me switch the main one. Can someone help? Kelly Mooney

Hi Kelly,

We don't change covers on records, instead we create Alternate Cover Editions. If you either upload the new cover to your Personal photos, OR provide us with a link to a NON-Bookseller site, we can add those for you. It would also help to know which formats have new covers.

Once the new editions are created and combined with the older ones, you as author can set the a new one as Primary edition.

Emy I have posted a new edition with Down the Shore, but it still won't let me switch the newer pic as the primary. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Kelly,

You don't add the cover to the existing edition. A whole NEW edition must be created as per message #3 in the link above. When creating that edition, just leave the ISBN/ASIN fields blank.

Once created, let us know and we will combine the new editions with the old ones. At that point you can then go into the edit page on one of the new editions and there will be a link on the right hand side to set that edition as primary - click and save :)
