Not Sure if This Qualifies for Space Opera...Yet...

I've recently release a new book, Rockin' Across the Galaxy, which is a light-hearted scifi adventure that will entertain, excite and maybe even provide a chuckle or two. Not sure if it qualifies as space opera or not-at least not yet-I'm writing a sequel that may make it more apparent!

The premise is relatively simple: Gsefx (pronounced "Zef") is stuck in traffic on his way to work on Laxor and is going to be late...again. Henry is a misunderstood artist (on Earth) at the end of his rope. Two different beings from opposite sides of the galaxy. What could these two possibly have in common. (Hint: it could have something to do with an "elek trik git-arr.") Here's a short excerpt:

Meaning "primitive" in Galactine Standard, albalan was defined by a stringed instrument known as an "elek trik gitt-arr," by the natives who played it. The git-arr was usually accompanied by a variety of other instruments just as primitive. All were played at exceptionally loud levels and what vocals there were often resembled primal screaming rather than true singing.

Like many other young galactic professionals, Gsefx loved it.
