Jonah: I walked down the steps of the school, ignoring the staffs pleads to stay. I saw the secretary reaching for the phone, no doubt to call the police to notify the police of my escape, so I started running.

Jonah: I reach near what was the middle of the town and I slow, panting. I kick a can across the street, then cross, ignoring the traffic lights. I walked along a block, which I usually strayed away from. A tattoo and peircing parlor, a liquor store, and smoke shop all rested, beckoning me inside. Sirens sounded, so I gave in to escape. I ducked into the tattoo parlor.

Jonah: The tattoo guy smiles a toothy grin, and I recognized him as one of my moms close friends. I nodded a polite hey, still watching the window for the police. No way was I gonna go back. I pored over a tattoo catalog, and I glanced longingly at the pictures. I debated internally on whether to get one or not, then finally decided to get a small one, somewhere hidden.
