Grayson walked into her office, tired from the long night of piling her papers in her file cabinet. She looked around her office seeing really nothing but blur. She sighed and put her head down on her desk.
Grayson walked into her office, tired from the long night of piling her papers in her file cabinet. She looked around her office seeing really nothing but blur. She sighed and put her head down on her desk.
Ben smiled as he finished his paperwork and packed up his things before making his way out of the office. He saw Grayson's head on her desk and wondered what was wrong. "What's up?" Ben asked, poking his head into her office.
She yawned and looked up "I'm tired" she rubbed eyes
"Ben nodded, wondering if he should ask her out since he had had a crush on her for the last year since she had been working here.
She sighed and put her papers to the side. "Dammit" she yawned again
"Do you want to do something tonight?" he asked, seeing how tired she was.
She looked up and rose an eyebrow. "Sure"
"What was what for?" she asked
"You rose your eye brow," he said, blushing "It probably is none of my business to know why, right?" he asked.
"Yep" she smirked and yawned again, arranging her papers.
Ben stood there, embarrassed and not knowing what to say.
She laughed and looked at him. "Go on. I'm going with you to dinner tonight, just text me the time and place and I will be there. That way I can finish filing"
"Okay," he said and went home to get changed. He changed into a nice shirt and jeans before texting Grayson the address to the restaurant.
Grayson was at home getting ready 5 minutes after he left. She put on a nice, but casual dress and some flats. She sighed and felt her phone vibrate, seeing the name of the restaraunt. She felt herself sweat a little and rolled her eyes, going towards the door and grabbing her keys. She walked out the door and drove to the restaraunt.
Ben got to the restaurant and waited for her, trying not to get nervous.
Grayson drove up and parked her car. As she got out, she looked up to find a good looking, but nervous Ben and giggled. She walked up to him. "Hey"
"Hey," he said, suppressing the urge to kiss her "You look beautiful."
Ben took her hand and led her into the restaurant, calming down a little bit.
She smiled as he took her hand, feeling his tense body relax and she giggled.
"What are you laughing about?" he asked, thinking her laugh was cute.
"Not anymore," he said, blushing as they sat down in a booth.
She giggled and sat down on the other side.
Ben held her hand as he began to look at the menu. "You have a cute laugh," he said, looking over the top of his menu at her.
She blushed and covered her face with the menu. "Thank you"
Ben looked back at his menu, not sure what else to say.
She smiled at herself as she put the menu down and started to scam it over again
