Yes! That is a very good idea.
We should do The Similarion, or The Children of Húrin, something to change it up a little, and something that the members may not have read by J.R.R. Tolkien.

It is certainly optional. Not everyone has to participate. It's only if you want to.

I'm glad everyone seems to like the idea. And I don't see why we'd make it required, lol. It wouldn't be as much fun if we had to. xD
I don't have The Children of Húrin, but I would enjoy reading The Silmarillion again. The last time I read it, I was sick, so half of it has disappeared into the fog that my mind was at the time, and I can't find it. xD

Aw, lol.

Woohoo! *high five* Have you read it before? :D

You'll enjoy it :) I know I did. Let us know your thoughts about it when you're done

Same here :) What was your favorite part?

What about you?

I watched some of them! Saw them in barrels!! :D

If you get the two-disc DVD, you can see all ten. :D Did you see the one with Beorn's house and the set for Dale?

What about you?"
I really like the scene where the dwarves are introduced, but the whole movie is great

It looks amazing. :D Can't wait to see it. Maybe I can go to the midnight premier of the second one...missed it on the first, lol.

Did any of you buy the Blue-ray edition? Apparently you get a preview for the Desolation of Smaug - my friend showed me some snapshots of it and I died ... I'm so excited! :D

If so, I've only seen the DVD versions."
Sorry for not being clear xD I meant The Hobbit :)
You're fine :)
Oh, all right. No, I haven't seen the Blue-ray version. I don't have a Blue-ray player :(

I can't keep up with all these new modern gadgets.
I'm too old fashioned."
Haha!

Are you talking about my family owning them

Oh, ha ha! Okay. Yes, they do still sell all of them on blu-ray.
Oh ok. I was just wondering since they are older movies. I wasn't sure if they just made Blue-ray discs or whatever they come on (Pardon me, I don't know much about Blue-rays) for just newer movies or what. I understand now.
See, I only have a DVD player, and that's what I use to watch all my movies on. I've had it for years, and I'm so used to it that I don't think about using all these newer gadgets and stuff.
But Blue-rays sound really interesting.
