I tend to read two books at a time. :) I like to keep one book at home and one in my bag, just in case I suddenly have to spend a long time waiting somewhere. If I'm totally hooked on a book though, or if it requires a lot of concentration, I'll just read that one.

one, or at most two- if the book needs something lighter once awhile during my reading. or usually if i'm unable to take the book out, then i pick any ebook/unfinished one.
I read 2 books at any given time. 1 business or non-fiction book (morning/afternoon session), and 1 fiction book (just before I go to sleep)
Usually, just one. Except, right now I'm reading like... 3 at the same time, only because none of them have really hooked me yet, so I go back and forth back and forth.
It depends on the book. If the one that I'm currently reading is like, super boring, I'll start on the new one... the one left behind, well, usually end up as dnf lol
Depends. Sometimes I focus on 1. Sometimes I read two alternately. The maximum number is three books at the same time though
I can read as much as my imagination can take, probably 5 books. With 1 book as main, and the others if I get tired of the first one. Since I easily bored (unless the books are mystery genre I don't think I can take them off my mind lol) but really, it doesn't matter for me, if I want to read then read, I don't really think much if I still have many books unread back home I would still read the new one (that of course peeking at my interest, which is, so often rise)
Two or three. It usually happen when I'm reading a high fantasy/ dark fantasy book, I will need an easy to read contemporary book as my side book to get me back to reality and not too caught up in the fantasy world.I know it sounds so weird, but it works that way for me.
usually I focus on one but sometimes I do read 2. usually when I read on a heavy book and need something lighter.
I limit my self to commit to maximum of 3 books at a time. 1 hard copy of crime/thriller (drawn me like moth to a flame), 1 e-book from Bookmate etc. to read while on commuter usually after down with limited lighting, and 1 hard copy belonging to different genre. That way i can be fair in judging the contents, no comparing within the same genre, just enjoy it.
Usually i read 2 book at a time. One is in my phone, the other one is paperbag. I read the paper bag at school since i don't bring my phone to school. Now i kinda read 3 books, coz I'm struggling to read this one book in my phone (but my sister insisted me to finish it ugh) so i have to keep my self entertained at home ^-^
I read 2 to 3 books at a time, sometimes If I feel like not satisfied by one of the book, I take a break from it, read another one. and end up reading 6 books. hahahaha
I always read 1 book at a time, because i feel strange if i read more books in the same time beside i can not be focus with 3 books. I finished 1 book about 2-3 days, sometimes i can finished it only for 1 day if the book is so thrilling for me.
I always read 1 book at a time. I've tried reading 2-3 books at a time but then it all gets mixed up in my head, so I guess I'm not a great multitasker after all :)

2, mostly 3 books at a time if one of them is not so thick. one of them is non-fiction, which I read in the morning (between work). In the afternoon/night I read the other.
Most of the time I'm the 'one-book-rush' type. Recently I read three or four books at the same time, switching books after reading a whole chapter.
I don't really know my maximum limit but usually I keep it around 3-4 books. Otherwise, some books would get abandoned LOLHowever, those books need to have different genre/theme/story line so I won't get them all mixed and messed up
I usually read onw book at a time, but I could handle up to 4 books. I once did it with no problem, yay to me °•°
Actually just 2 books at a time, but might change titles daily. Read it chapter by chapter.Well, my currently reading shelf lists around 20 or 30 books, those are books I wanted to read first among my pile of unread books, so I'd cycle daily between those pile of books unless there are thin or simple books to read in one sitting.
I actually just read one book at a time. But if I get a little bored, I move and read another book, finished it or end up getting bored again, and then back to the first book.
I usually read one book at a time bcz I couldn't handle so many books at one time. But sometimes, whenever I get bored with book I read and I get some new interesting book, I probably read both new book and the old one. I really hate leaving something unfinished. Despite the book I read really dull or boring, it would be nice if I finished the old one first before I start a new book.
Currently I'm reading several books. It's not a good habit since it's end with many book left unread and I've forgot about the story so sometimes I have to re-read what I have left behind.
One book at a time. As I usually read thriller books, I need to fully concentrate on one story so I won't messed it all up :D

That's why to finish a boring book, I rather skimmed most of the part so I can end it ..."I did this with one of the books I read a few days ago. I couldn't get into the story as usual, maybe because there are too many unfamiliar names and places :P

I dont mind to re-read, but I dont have a lot of time since I'm working now.
I have tens "in flight" but realistically speaking I probably only read 5 at any given time - 2-3 reference-style books for work that I don't actually read cover-to-cover, 2 books for leisure reading. My library lets me borrow ebooks but sometimes the title I request is on hold, so sometimes a book ends up being available when I'm in the middle of reading something else.I try to only read one book per genre though, otherwise it's hard to keep them separate in my mind.
I usually read 1 book at a time, but I can also read 2-3 books in parallel. Just depends on my mood.
I usually just read one book at a time, finish one first then pick up another one in my queue. Occasionally, I do the otherwise but often times it will lead to one book left in forlorn collecting dust on yet even dustier book-shelf as an expense.
I read 2-3 books in one time so I won't getting bored for just read 1 book. Also read more than 1 book give me some proud, happy, and relieved feel at the same time after I finish all of the books.
I used to just read 1 book at a time and it worked perfectly with fiction books. However I find it hard to finish non-fiction books in one sitting. So, now I read more than a book at a time, usually I read a fiction and non-fiction books at a time. sorry for the bad grammar, English is not my first language.
I'd do 2 usually. One is the slow-burn that takes longer to absorb, the other one is the page turner that I am engrossed when I am frustrated how slow I have been with the former.
i love to read 2-3 books at one time, it helps me to give some new mood every time I finish reading one of them.sometimes a good book has slower plot and i might struggle to keep the pace, to make it balance I read lighter and easier book so it might give new perspective and motivation when i'm coming back to read earlier books.
but this method also lead to other issue, will my later book comes as a lighter one or even heavier to read? 😂
