>>What is your favorite time of day (or night) to write?My favorite hours are between 1.30am and 5am, when all is peaceful and quiet.

Yes, the people around me definitely influence my characters.
>> What caused you to decide to become a writer?
I've always enjoyed writing; it was my favorite hobby when I was a kid. I don't remember if there was anything in particular that triggered this passion.
>> Who are your favorite author(s) and/or book(s)?
I have so many! I'll list three:
Harry Potter/JK Rowling
Pride and Prejudice/Jane Austen
The Chronicles of Narnia/C.S. Lewis (one of my childhood favorites).

Romance for sure!
>> Why did you choose to write this genre of book?
It's what flows most naturally when I sit down to write.
>> How do you balance writing with other things in your life?
Not very well at all! When I'm working toward a deadline I often lock myself up for days at a time. I don't have children yet, so that makes it easier.
>> What are your favorite hobbies, besides writing?
Reading! I wish I had more time for it.
>> How do you come up with the ideas for charcters & plots in your books?
Most of my ideas seem to jump into my head out of nowhere. Before I start a book, I sit myself down in front of a blank screen and my imagination takes over.

Right now I don't have any pets although I do love animals. Elephants are probably my favorite :)

Currently I'm fortunate enough to be able to write full-time.

Hi Bella! Awesome to be talking to you! I was wondering, How difficult is it to decide on a book cover? Also, How do you go about coming up with names for your books??

Good question about the book cover! I use a professional designer to do my covers and she's very good, so it's not a difficult process because she normally gets it right the first time.
Names for my books: I brainstorm by writing out a long list of potential names and then see which one resonates the most with the story.
Ugh! I don't know how you can get up that early! Or be up that late,depending on your preference! :)
The authors you listed as your favorites are also many of my favorites!!
Balance is a hard thing to achieve! I don't have it in my life
either, so it's nice to know I'm not alone! :)
Since all my kids are over 18 now ... My Pug is my little baby boy now!

Just wanted to say I love your books! I read both in just a few days and now i'm pining for the third one to come out so I can keep on daydreaming about this series!I wanted to know how did you get your start at becoming a professional writer?
Do you do any research for your books or do you create everything from your imagination?
Were there any specific movies/books/songs that inspired or influenced you to write?

Regarding your questions:

After finishing A Shade Of Vampire, I decided to go the indie route to publish the book, rather than submit to agents or traditional publishers. I really don't have much patience and didn't fancy going through the whole query process.

It's all from my imagination :)

Songs are what inspire me when I write. One song I listened to a lot was Hallelujah with John Cale.
I just finished reading this one and absolutely loved it!!!! I can't wait to read the next book - I just have to get it first! Lol! Bella, I will post a review in the next couple days - earlier if I can! :)
