So can anyone else if they have questions! :)
Bella, I know you will get back to us as soon as you can! I apologize for not having the questions for you in advance.

My favorite hours are between 1.30am and 5am, when all is peaceful and quiet.
>> Is there anyone (or more) who is an inspiration for your characters?
Yes, the people around me definitely influence my characters.
>> What caused you to decide to become a writer?
I've always enjoyed writing; it was my favorite hobby when I was a kid. I don't remember if there was anything in particular that triggered this passion.
>> Who are your favorite author(s) and/or book(s)?
I have so many! I'll list three:
Harry Potter/JK Rowling
Pride and Prejudice/Jane Austen
The Chronicles of Narnia/C.S. Lewis (one of my childhood favorites).
>> Do you have a favorite genre of book to write?
Romance for sure!
>> Why did you choose to write this genre of book?
It's what flows most naturally when I sit down to write.
>> How do you balance writing with other things in your life?
Not very well at all! When I'm working toward a deadline I often lock myself up for days at a time. I don't have children yet, so that makes it easier.
>> What are your favorite hobbies, besides writing?
Reading! I wish I had more time for it.
>> How do you come up with the ideas for charcters & plots in your books?
Most of my ideas seem to jump into my head out of nowhere. Before I start a book, I sit myself down in front of a blank screen and my imagination takes over.
>> Do you have any animals? If so what kind? What is your favorite animal?
Right now I don't have any pets although I do love animals. Elephants are probably my favorite :)
>> Do you have any other job(s) besides writing?
Currently I'm fortunate enough to be able to write full-time.
>> Do you have any favorite quotes or parts of your book(s)?
This is one of my favorite quotes from Sofia:
“I know an excuse when I hear one. Don't you dare deceive yourself into believing that you're the victim, Derek Novak.”
>> Who would you choose to be the person you want to meet the most?
That's a tough one ... maybe William Shakespeare...
>> What are you working on next?
I'm currently working on A Shade Of Vampire, Book 3!
Book 2:

>> Tell us something about you that nobody else knows.
I lack self-confidence and I never expected word of mouth to spread as much as it has about A Shade Of Vampire:

OTHER QUESTIONS ASKED IN PREVIOUS AOTM'S"
>> Vanilla or Chocolate Ice Cream?
Vanilla.
>> Beach or Mountains?
Beach, but only if it's good for snorkelling.
>> Gold or Silver?
Gold.

I was wondering, How difficult is it to decide on a book cover? Also, How do you go about coming up with names for your books??

I was wondering, How difficult is it to decide on a book cover? Also, How do you go about coming up with names for your books??"
Good question about the book cover! I use a professional designer to do my covers and she's very good, so it's not a difficult process because she normally gets it right the first time.
Names for my books: I brainstorm by writing out a long list of potential names and then see which one resonates the most with the story.

depending on your preference! :)
The authors you listed as your favorites are also many of my favorites!!
Balance is a hard thing to achieve! I don't have it in my life
either, so it's nice to know I'm not alone! :)
Since all my kids are over 18 now ... My Pug is my little baby boy now!
LOL! :)
Bella, please feel free to add more if you want to!!
To everyone else .... Please ask any questions you have that I didn't think of!!!!
Thank you all!! :)

I wanted to know how did you get your start at becoming a professional writer?
Do you do any research for your books or do you create everything from your imagination?
Were there any specific movies/books/songs that inspired or influenced you to write?

Thanks RJ! I'm thrilled you enjoyed them.
Regarding your questions:
"I wanted to know how did you get your start at becoming a professional writer?"
After finishing A Shade Of Vampire, I decided to go the indie route to publish the book, rather than submit to agents or traditional publishers. I really don't have much patience and didn't fancy going through the whole query process.
"Do you do any research for your books or do you create everything from your imagination?"
It's all from my imagination :)
"Were there any specific movies/books/songs that inspired or influenced you to write?"
Songs are what inspire me when I write. One song I listened to a lot was Hallelujah with John Cale.

Bella, I will post a review in the next couple days - earlier if I can! :)

She has also donated a signed copy of her book to Cristina for one of the

I have created a thread for our AOTM (also located under the folder
"Books and Author of the Month") so if anyone would like to start asking
her any questions you have before I do so at any time!
I am still working on the questions to ask her (it will take me a day or
two) so please bear with me ... I am very new to doing the AOTM questions! lol! :)
Thank you everyone!
