Abyss laid in the sun, letting her cold blood settle. Her wings spread out to take in the heat. She got up than headed for the Blacksmith Cove so she could get back to her sword.

[Cherrysong , um...DW left so...me and Katrina head mods.......?]

Tikatch walked around camp, bored and looking for something to do. Her tail was swinging out behind her as she walked and almost smashed her surroundings if she was not careful.

[Katrina]

Trotzen alighted gently in camp, immediately noticing the magnificent white dragon. "Tikatch!" He hollered over at her.

[Cherrysong , um...DW left so...me and Katrina head mods.......?]

"Trotzen! What are you doing?" she lifted her head to the purple/black dragon and stopped walking aimlessly around camp.

[Katrina]

"Nothing much. I decided to leave the lonely hunter's cave and find something to do." His deep gravely voice rumbled powerfully, sending vibrations through the feet of passing dragons.

[Cherrysong , um...DW left so...me and Katrina head mods.......?]

"I was just walking around camp, finding something to do. It is very boring without any little dragons roaming around camp and pestering the older ones." Tikatch said as she stretched out her wings, her muscles rippieling underneath her lizard like skin.

[Katrina]

Trotzen was silent, trying to figure out if she was implying something with this statement. "Uh...yes, we need more young ones." He eventually decided to say.

[Cherrysong , um...DW left so...me and Katrina head mods.......?]

"They grow up to become powerful dragons. Would you like to go hunting? I could use something to do." Tikatch asks.

[Katrina]

His heart jumped happily when she asked this. "I would be delighted to go hunting with you." He spread his wings and looked to her for direction. "Where are we off too?"

"Hmm, howabout the forest? I could use with some deer at the moment." Tikatch flapped her wings powerfully and took off into the sky, circleing over head like a prey bird while she waited for Trotzen.

[Katrina]

Nodding at this suggestion, Trotzen jumped into the air, catching the currents and soaring off after Tikatch towards the forest.

Abyss flew into the open, covered in smoke and dirt. She coughed out a large puff of smoke and turned her gaze to the sky. She sighed. As leader of the blacksmiths, she didn't get any sleep cause she was busy training. She didn't want sleep, and she didn't need it.

[Katrina]

Trotzen arrived at camp just before Tikatch, and dragged his prey over to the main area.

Tikatch flew back to camp with her prey. She dropped the deer from her claws and landed on the ground with a thud. She folded up her wings and dropped her prey from her mouth.

"There is plenty for everyone!" she called. Tikatch dragged two deer over to Trotzen. "Would you like to eat with me?" she asked.

Abyss flew over their heads, making a gigantic shadow. She swooped down and carried two pieces of the prey and flew off, heading towards the Blacksmith den.

[Katrina]

"Of course!" He settled down beside her and tucked into the fresh caught deer.

Tikatch did the same, finishing her doe with only a few bites. "That's better." she said.

[Katrina]

Yawning and stretching, Trotzen felt his eyes droop sleepily. The warm sun beat on his dark scales. He felt full and content, not to mention happy to feel Tikatch by him.

Tikatch spread her wings in the sun, letting them soak up its warmth. They gently brushed Trotzens as she spread them out to their full wingspan.

[Katrina]

As Tikatch's wingtips lightly swept by his, Trotzen couldn't resist letting out a deep contented rumble. He flicked his tail back and forth.

((I don't know. I think they do... I know dogs do but it sounds really weird...))

Tikatch dozed in the sun until she felt to hot in the summer sun. "I need to go and do something or go and rest in the shade." she said. "What would you like to do?"

((No. Dragons don't purr. They make soft growling sounds tho...))

((Okay. Thanks for the info. :) ))

[Katrina]

Blinking, Trotzen jolted from his sunny daze. "Agreed. We could walk through the forest? Not to hunt, just to talk."

"Okay. I'd like that." Tikatch got up from her sunny spot and folded her wings back to her body, their suned scales warm against her flank. She waited for Trotzen to take the lead.

[Katrina]

He shook himself, then flapped his wings, quickly reviving his energy. Lifting high into the air, he glanced back to make sure Tikatch was following, then swooped off towards the forest. After a minute he alighted down not far from where they had found the herd of deer. The cool shade kept him feeling alert and energized.

Tikatch took after him, gliding in the air with ease and landing in the shade of the trees with Trotzen.

Landing with a thud, Tikatch dropped her prey in the center of camp. Her mouth was watering at the sight and scent of the newly caught unicorn.

[Katrina]

Trotzen fell out of the sky beside Tikatch and dropped his prey. "Unicorn for all!" He called out to the nearby dragons.

Tikatch took two unicorns for herself before letting the rest of camp devour it. "Wanna share?" she asked.

[Katrina]

"Of course. I think this is becoming a habit of ours," he growled, amused.

Abyss stared after them, happy about their catches.

Tikatch saw Abyss and nodded towards her, happy that she had pleased her. She carried the unicorns over to a sunny spot and sat down. "Oh, I'm sorry. What would you prefer: A shadow or sunny spot?" she asked.

[Katrina]

"Whichever. I only care about the people I eat with, not the spot." He sat down and licked his chops hungrily.

Abyss took three unicorns and flew up to the blacksmith cave.

Tikatch stayed where she was. She haded a unicorn to Trotzen as she gulped down hers eagerly.

Abyss soon flew out of the Blacksmith cave, and out into the distance to find coal.

[Katrina]

Trotzen looked up from his meal to watch Abyss fly overhead. He was always mesmerized by the female dragons when they flew. They had a graceful way of doing it.

Lightning Sun strolled over to the kill pile and picked up three unicorns and a left over griffin. He stared at the two hunters, joy in his gaze. "Excellent work you two. I'm glad you are hunters."

"Well, actually, I'm a fighter. But there is nothing for me to fight at the moment so I was hunting with Trotzen." Tikatch explains.

Lightning Sun nodded. "Great job than. Tokatch, maybe you would like to patrol the borders. I heard their was a dragon rider and his dragon somewhere nearby."

[Cherrysong , um...DW left so...me and Katrina head mods.......?]

"I'd be glad to! Although..." she looked at Trotzen and their meal. "Can I finish first? And can I also take Trotzen with me?"

Lightning Sun nodded. "Oh, of course! Of course! Take your time, let me know when your done, and I'll send some dragons with you."

Tikatch nodded gratefully and gulped down the rest of her unicorn. "Well, would you like to come?" she asked Trotzen.

[Katrina]

"Sure. Now that you've got a taste of hunting, I would like to see what border patrol is."

Lightning Sun nodded. "Great. I'll talking to the other hunters if you need me." He than strolled over to the other hunters.

"C'mon!" eager to show her friend what she did, Tikatch opened her wings and soared out of camp. Is that really what I think of him as? Just a friend?

[Katrina]

Trotzen followed swiftly, energized after the meal.
