In conjunction with Goodreads?
What is the point, may I ask? How are they different? Is Library Thing worth it to promote a book?

Justin (justinbienvenue) Library Thing was before Goodreads. From what I heard after you list a certain amount of books you have to pay. Ive never been on it thats just what i heard, may be worth it but itd be best to stick with Goodreads.

Hmmm...interesting. Thanks Justin. :-)

M.T. McGuire (mtmcguire) | 212 comments I have an account on Library thing but I found it a bit unintuitive and the first group I joined turned out to contain more than its fair share of people complaining about author spam, which made me a bit wary. I don't like the spammy ones so I reckoned if they, and the anti spammers, were on there, I'd pop over here. Never looked back.

Cheers

MTM

Jill Sanders (jillmsanders) | 43 comments I have an account there, both my books are up there. But, I'm a VERY tech savvy kinda girl, and I find the site just plan hard to work with. So, I leave it alone. :)

Hmm... I'm not surprised to hear that. I have no idea if my books are on or not. I think I added them but I never really worked out if I had managed to make it so that other people saw them! Phnark!

Eisah Eisah | 22 comments I'm on there but like others it's not a very intuitive site. I have no problem using it now, but I prefer Goodreads because I think it's set up better.
