YES!!! Love that in VA the bad vampires actually seem scary!!!! they dont sparkle :p

Yes. I like Twilight a lot, but Rose is a better heroine than Bella. Rose is very easy to sympathize with because even though she's not perfect, she does have a lot of strengths.

I honestly love both series so much, but I would have to say I enjoyed Twilight a little more for two reasons: I read them first AND I'm am so team Adrian. I feel that pretty much sums it up.

erm... I love both. actually I love vampire academy more just because All of twilight are out so you can read them all in a week but silver shadows just came out and the va books were coming out as i was reading them. plus Marry me Adrian!!!!!!
Twilight, Vampire diaries, True blood, etc. they were the reasons i didn't read Vampire Academy right away. and when i did, i promised myself if it was going to be the same lame, unreliable or slut vampire story (in which you know that the author doesn't know where he/she is going with it), i'll never pick any vampire book again!but it was amazing. i finished the whole series in one week.
Well, it'd be unfair of me to say that Vampire Academy was better than Twilight, since I only read book 1 of Twilight, since I couldn't get into New Moon. I haven't seen any of the movies, either... so I can't say that Vampire Academy is better than Twilight, but I was able to get through all 6 books, whereas with Twilight, I got stuck on book 2. (I also got stuck on book 2 of Vampire Academy for like 6 months because I was writing, but... I was able to overcome that haha)

100% yes! VA is way better than twilight. Twilight is a good read if you are a preteen girl and if you haven't seen the movie (they pretty much ruined the books!). Every VA book is amazing and i could read them over and over!
VA is far better than twilight not only for the way Rose seems to handle it all but also because of the way Richelle had all the things tied up in a neat packet that you can't easily predict the next thing!!!!!
OMG Yes! I love this series, even though I havent gotten to finish them. I finished Blood Promise and was so surprised by the end! I want to read the other ones SOOOOOOOO badly

No question it would be VA! I love Rose and all the characters. They have way better personalitys and it was a book I could not put down! I did love the twilight books but VA is wayyy better.
In my opinion each has its charm could not compare with each other because both marked parts of my life so for me the two are exciting worlds.

YES. Twilight in my opinion, is not as good as the awesomeness of Vampire Academy ...not even close. While I do like Twilight , and I feel nostalgic whenever I watch one of the movies, I believe that Vampire Academy is simply better because it has more of that horror instead of a lovey-dovey story centered around the choices two characters make (i.e. Edward and Bella).
Of course because in vampire academy there are like 5 or 6 different creatures and in twilight there are two and they are undeveloped. Twilight does not have much character development and Rose is so different from start to finish. Twilight, to be honest, is a better first book because it was longer and more detailed but over all vampire academy had more twist and turns and deaths and a way more emotional ride. Vampire Academy by far!
