I'm taking November 23 to December 28 off from posting new books but, I will still be accepting submissions, ALWAYS OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS just taking a little holiday vacation off for posting new books. I will still be checking the R2R threads just not posting new books.

Authors-
TO SIGN UP

Please place a comment below letting us know your interested BUT
ALSO send an email to Carrie_loversofparanormal@yahoo.com with the below information...the comment here will help us keep track in case an email doesn't get through!

PLEASE PUT NAME OF YOUR BOOK IN SUBJECT LINE OF EMAIL

What we do is moderate a program called R2R (Read 2 Review) for the Lovers of Paranormal book club on Goodreads. We have over 6,827 members and we invite authors to donate their e-books in exchange for reviews. Here is the link for the program rules for our members http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...

Below is what we would need if you are interested in sharing the book with our group:

In order to participate please provide me with a e-book that will enable us to send your book to our readers/participants for review.
- For example a copy of your e-book or a reusable download code (Smashwords/PDF,Mobi,Epub).
- If you choose to gift the copies yourself to reviewers that is fine too. We will send you the email addresses of reviewers as we get them and you can send them the gift email.

**Obviously in this digital age I can NOT guarantee that someone won't "steal" your book if you choose to send it to us in a file format. Codes/Gifted copies are obviously the best way to share your book but I know that costs you the author We have a pretty solid base of reviewers that we feel are trustworthy but I just wanted to disclose this to you up front.**

Requests:
-How many copies do you want to offer? (Typical is 5-10 and I would say no more than 20)
- Formats available
- Please note if there are any special aspects of your book that we need to be aware of when soliciting reviewers. i.e. Adult themes 17+ etc.
- Please specify the genre (especially if it's YA, New Adult, Audlt) for us and give me a brief synopsis to post if there isn't one already listed on Goodreads
- Length of book
- Is this part of series or stand alone
- Will I be sending your book out? I'm ok with this, I do it with most authors.

That's all I need.

FYI for you:
- I'm not online for most weekends. So I will be doing R2R on the weekdays.
- We ask that reviewers post to as many online book sites as possible (B&N, Smashwords, Amazon) but only require that they post to Goodreads
- We follow-up with all "late" reviewers and anyone who does not review or does not respond is "kicked out" of the program but I can not guarantee that every person will write a review. I try to stack books with more established reviewers and only 1 or 2 new people to limit the amount of possible 'walk-offs' you get.
- if you are sending book directly to reviewers I ask you to waitfor me to email you with reviewers information.

Thanks so much for trusting our group to read and review your work!

Other information:

- The books that always get the most reviews are true PN books. If your book is not PN you can still submit it for review and we will look at books on a case by case basis.

- There is a new folder under Authors Corner for authors whose books do not fit into our R2R but whom still want to offer up their books for review on their own.

-We want to help you get your book read and reviewed! Here is what I need you to do.

Do not give out the above information in the sign up thread! I will contact you privately.

- We will be posting FOUR (sometimes more)books per week depending on demand and post as we receive the information from you

*Repeat Note: We can NOT guarantee that your file will not be uploaded to illegal sites so we are happy to work with authors on gifting books on Amazon, Smashwords, B&N..whatever you want if you don't feel comfortable sending a file out.

We look forward to your entries.

Sarah Cradit (sarahcradit) | 4 comments I write a Paranormal Southern Gothic series called The House of Crimson & Clover, which centers around two mysterious and powerful New Orleans families. There are currently 6 books out (3 full length, 3 novella length), and I am releasing the current installment as a serial novel in 3 parts this summer.

The series ramps up in the PNR elements as it goes on. Book 1, for example, has light PNR elements, but once you get to Book 2, it even dabbles in fantasy/sci-fi.

I am specifically offering Book 1 (The Storm and the Darkness) up for review. It is approx. 82k words, and as I mentioned, the paranormal elements are lighter here than the rest of the series. There are some adult themes, and language. Here's the GR link: http://bit.ly/1bopnAM

I can provide the book in both mobi and epub. And I'm happy to provide 20 copies, however if a 21st person requests it, I won't say no :). I'm fine to send the book directly to you to distribute, just let me know.

If a reviewer enjoys the book and wants to continue, I would be happy to provide the remaining books for review as well.

I think that's everything. Let me know if you need anything else :)

This novel deals with reincarnation, specifically surrounding a small group, but in the larger sense, what would happen if everyone in the world woke up tomorrow knowing they lived before and not only that, their past lives live on and actually come to you. I will have to ask my publisher how many copies I am allowed to give out but I believe it was five.

Mark Matthews (xmarkm) | 3 comments I would like to submit ten copies of Milk-Blood gifted straight from amazon. It is a quick read at 152 paperback pages. It is a supernatural horror novel perhaps unlike anything you've read in a long time. The setting is a real street in Detroit not far from where I live.

**Lilly is ten years old, born with a heart defect, and already addicted to heroin. Her mother is gone from her life, and there are rumors that she was killed by her father and buried near the abandoned house across the street. The house intrigues her, she can't stay away, and the monstrous homeless man who lives there has been trying to get Lilly to come inside.

For her mother is there, buried in the back, and this homeless man is Lilly's true father, and both want their daughter back.**

"Annie expected the town of Salem to be filled with secrets, but the secrets hidden within her own family are far more dangerous than any of the village's mysteries.

Annie's moved across the country to do graduate work in New England with Professor Nathaniel Wright. She’s determined to uncover the truth of the witches of Salem and what really happened to them. Though she’s not a believer in the supernatural, not yet at least, her mind is open to the possibilities.

She soon learns that Professor Wright is not what he seems, but there’s something about the handsome young professor that draws her in. Annie denies her attraction to him, but she can’t help but fall under his spell. The closer she gets to him, though, the more she begins to see the things he’s worked so hard to keep hidden from her.

When Annie learns of her own personal connection to the Salem Witch Trials, she doesn’t know whether to fight or flee. She knows she needs Nathaniel’s help to figure out her past, but can she trust him after he’s kept so much from her?"

I'd like to receive some reviews for my latest, "The High King's Embalmer." It's a fantasy/sci fi/paranormal/dark/a touch of horror (with the embalming and heart-eating)/adventure fiction about a heart-eating shapeshifter who looks similar to Anubis. There are tinges of ancient Egypt, but it's set on a plant similar to Earth. It is the first book of (possibly) three.

I can offer 10-15 copies via a free coupon with SmashWords. The novel is on Amazon, SmashWords, Scribd and iBooks, currently.

Allan Krummenacker (allankrummenacker) | 35 comments Hi Carrie,

I've got 5 e-copies (Kindle, Nook, Apple, Sony, PDF) of my latest novel "THE SHIP" that I'd be willing to put up for R2R.

This is the 2nd book in my Para-Earth Series, but the story stands on its own, people don't have to have read the first one to enjoy this story.

"THE SHIP" is a paranormal, mystery with a touch of sci-fi that involves two young women (from my first novel "THE BRIDGE")

The Ship: Every ship needs a navigator... The Ship Every ship needs a navigator... (Para-Earth Book 2) by Allan Krummenacker

Back cover synopsis:

What starts as a simple surfing lesson, turns into a struggle for survival for billionair heiress Cassandra Elliott and her new love interest the Seneca shamaness Julie Cloudfoot.

Cassandra is knocked off her board by an unseen assailant that leaves a terrifying gash in her wetsuit, along with a small red mark on her leg. Soon, terrifying visions of a ghost ship begin haunting the heiress' dreams. She begins to feel strangely drawn to the sea whenever a strange fogbank appears in the distance.

Is something hiding within the miasma, and what connection does it have to the legendary "Lost Colony of Roanoke", and the tribe of Tuscarora indians, that Julie is distantly related to...

Like I said I can offer 5 copies or up to 10 depending on the response we get. It's been doing well, but I really could use some reviews here and on Smashwords.

Thanks.

Allan

Helena Shaw (helenashaw17) | 3 comments I've emailed and I'm submitting The Demon's Song for review. I'm giving out 10 copies (but if someone wants it sooner, just shoot me a message) and I'm going to be emailing pdfs (but if you want an epud, let me know)

blurb: The one man who can save Cadence may also be the one to destroy her.

Shadows cloak Cadence’s every move, but only she can see the swirling darkness and the encroaching shadows threaten more than just her vision. Sinister and evil creatures stalk her from beyond her sight, eager to claim a power hidden within her that she does not yet understand.

But the shadows clear within the presence of her new boss, the dangerously sexy Draven Crane. Draven’s strength comforts Cadence, but his secrets might prove to be just as dangerous as the evils that threaten her.

Draven promises he’ll protect her from the darkness, but Cadence fears trusting the mysterious man. If taken, Cadence will be devoured by evil. If Draven saves her, her life may very well be in the hands of a demon.

Mina Khan (spicebites) | 26 comments Hi Carrie, I hope summer is treating you well! I'll have a djinn novella out in November and would love to have it considered for your December R2R. I'd be happy to offer 5 copies.

Here's the blurb:

Sealed With A Kiss, A Djinn Novella by Mina Khan

Rayez, a smoking hot chef and fire djinn in exile, lands himself in deep trouble (at the bottom of a beer bottle) when he tries to help a mysterious beautiful woman.

Selene is pursued and desperate. She’ll do anything to keep her brother safe—including capture a djinn.

While deception brings them together, dangerous enemies make them unlikely allies. Can one wrong lead to two rights and true love?

Hey Carrie! I'm submitting my new novel "Outlier: Rebellion (Book 1)" for Read 2 Review.

I can offer 10 to 20 copies. PDF/mobi/epub
This novel contains M/M & M/F sexuality, violence, and adult language.
The genre is Urban Fantasy / Dystopian / Romance
It is the first in a series. You are welcome to be the one to send the book out if you wish! :)

Here is the synopsis:

Every citizen in Atlas, the last city on the planet, is born with a unique, special ability, and no one sleeps past the age of two.

Except for Wick Lesser who, at seventeen, still sleeps. Hiding this rare ability from the world, his father, who can calculate futures, trains him in self-defense and combat while his healing-gifted mother works an unglamorous job in the muds and keeps his secret safe with the help of Wick's older brothers. The Lesser family of the ninth ward slums manages to keep afloat, suffering under the corrupt, greed-driven Kingship of the Lifted City.

But not for long.

In the first installment of the Outlier series, Wick's unassuming slumborn life soon explodes into a full-speed adventure of danger, betrayal, and self-discovery when he secretly joins an underground rebel movement working to take down the oppressive ruling power. But the task is far from easy, and there are more adversaries than Wick can count. Not to mention the complication of an intense, unplanned attraction ... to someone on the wrong side of the rebellion.

Powerful forces are gathering to put an end to the uprising, including the city's elite crew of law-enforcers called Guardian, of which Wick's own two eldest brothers are sworn members, and all corners of the slums grow ever restless: a lustful boy with blackened eyes leads a violent street gang, with Wick's younger brother as his newest recruit. A cunning orphaned girl whose ability is to be unseen, sees everything. And high up in the Lifted City, a privileged and wealthy boy yearns for an exciting new life in the slums.

Their world is at a precipice of great change. No one is safe. The rebellion has begun.
