It is hard to pin down a genre for this series. Perhaps Paranormal with Romance, but Romance is not the primary focus. It turns things upside down and explores good v. evil as not always being fixed or clear. It explores Angels and Demons and Humans and non-traditional relationships and roles. It contains aspects of religion, but is not a religious book by any means, though it is provocative and aspects could be offensive to the very pious with fixed points of view. It explores aspects of free-will, redemption, and who is eligible. It is so much more.
