I hope so!
I do have to say that whole lion-eats-salsa-and-turns-into-a-cow bit, was kinda odd....

I kinda felt like it didn't give it enough credit. The greatest monster in Egyptian history and it gets tricked by salsa? and turned into a cow?? LOL

Good call, good call. I just put a hold on the second one at my library and someone has it :( and I'm not the first hold after they bring it back....that is really depressing!

I was so sad about it all at first. Their dad, Zia, the house turning on them even after everything, the house, Amos.....but then BAST CAME BACK! I still don't know how I feel about their dad and mom being there but not there...its still not what I wanted for them but maybe it will be better in the next one.
I just feel bad, all of his characters either have dead parents or dead friends or really just dead SOMETHING.

Oh his characters are great and your right they do have all these great qualities about them because of it. I know he started these books for his son but he can really connect with the younger adult audience better than anyone I've read in a long time.
