Great! I started the other book I had gotten from the library yesterday while I waited...I am almost finished haha. I will probably finish it tonight and start Red Pyramid :)

lol I havent gotten to gods yet....I am on Chapter 2, I plan on getting a lot of it read today and hopefully finish this weekend :) I will catch up to you here in a bit I hope!

I am on chapter 7 now...wow! LOL. I like it. It's good. Riordan is a great author...I am still patiently waiting for the House of Hades to come out though...hahaha...I think at this moment I prefer Percy Jackson and the Heroes of Olympus, but this series has definite promise :)

I love Sadie's quirkiness. I am at the part she singed off Zia's eyebrows. I like where the story is heading. I'm just ready for it to come together.

I don't think so. I'm ending at ch. 19 for the night. I like Bast. I think Zia is up to something though. just not sure what. but I don't think she will be an enemy

I think we are right around the same place? Or have you progressed much further? As far as Bast, they are gods...and they seem to be along the same lines as the Greek and Roman...Zia did refer to her as a demon, and that she is trained to kill gods. So maybe, like the other series, Egyptian gods are just as, what is the word I am looking for...shifty?

If she turned bad....it would be breaking her promise? that she made to their dad...to protect Sadie. Guess we shall see :)

I finished this morning. already put In a request for book 2 :) my luck i will be caught up this series before book 4 in heroes of Olympus comes out lol. I won't say anything. but we can talk about where you are

Well. I can't really say too much about it because it'll get explained a little bit. But set is also associated with red so it makes sense for his pyramid to be a Red Pyramid :-) but like I said it'll explain it all real soon

And I'm catching a theme in his books, Gods + Mortal spawns = must work together to save world. Got it. Although I thought Thoth mentioning Hermes was funny.
Oh I love that part. I also like how in the book a couple times they referenced in Manhattan and not going there lol since that's where you know the the Greek demigods are and tend to be

That would be interesting! I would read it...I am convinced I will read anything of his. Seriously. He is such a captivating author!! Other than his cliffhanger for The Mark of Athena, I have not been disappointed from a single thing he has written.
just got book 2. had to request it from another library. If you want to read it together let me know but I'll probably start it sometime this weekend or Monday. I am going to try and work on a couple other books as well
