i have tried tho read the great gatsby 2 or 3 times and it is one of the most boring books i have read, now how do you like that for a great recommendation? i have heard so many great things about it i am hoping i am just not giving it a fair shake so would love to read it with the group and be obligated to finish it this time.

You have to be on a computer - not a phone or other app. When you are adding a comment, just above the text box there is a link that says "add book/author"...."

by the way eragon was funny sad sweet and and a real treat i have also read bresinger and the inheritance and am looking forward to the next installment which is supposed to be the final.final one if we the readers let it be.
I would like to nominate The Diviners and I Hunt Killers. Do we get a notification of what book gets picked?
After going through all the suggestions so far (mainly to add more books to my "to read" list) I really like the sounds of the The Grimm Legacy and of course the The Great Gatsby- especially with the release of the movie coming up.

So please leave your recommendations in this discussion :)"Generation Z by Shannon Lyndsy.Generation ZIts the most creative book I've read in a long time. Its about a group of HIV positive environmentalists who have contracted the disease in order to depopulate the planet and save Earth from more human harm.
It's pretty funny, in a dark, twisted way.
Here are a few suggestions. The first book I want to suggest is The Secrete Life of Bees http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/37... The second book is Becasue of Mr. Terupt. http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/77...
The third book that I want to suggest is What happend to Goodbye http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/84...
And the final book that I want to suggest is Out of my Mind http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/66...
I second The Historian and City of Bones and how aboutA Clockwork Orange if we're looking for classics?

I read
too. Don't think these people will like it. I did. But almost got my ass chewed out by some chick for liking it.
I agree with Paper towns http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/29... and Every Day http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13...
I recommend The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan. Its the first book in a series of 3 and its simply amazing.
I think we should read
. A lot of people don't like it because of the way it's written, but it's exciting and I think it would be a good book to read.
I would like to read
and
Because I've been wanting to read them for awhile and I already have Graceling sitting on my shelf being unread and collecting dust.

I've started with Looking for Alaska and The Lightning Thief and they seem great! And don't even get me to speak about Beautiful Creatures GREAT BOOK & MOVIE!
I second The storyteller
I'm currently reading this book (it was second on the list for my other book club). I'm only a few chapters in, but I am enjoying it.
I adore Urban Fantasy with strong, determined women leads who also have good hearts. I highly recommend Sleight of Hand
. Once you read it, you won't be able to resist
Hidden Trump
Omg I'm reading the storyteller right now :PUmm since I will have already finished it by June, I'll go with spellcaster.
I would like to suggest the Time Traveller's Wife.
