Andrea | 3 comments Just finished this one. Loved it. My favorite stories were Guts and Exodus. Anyone else read this and have a favorite story?

Andy Pronti | 8 comments Haunted us one of my least favorite Palahniuk novels. It didn't really flow for me. I do however love a few if the short stories from it. Product Placement, Guts ( of course) are awesome!

Cameron Contreras | 2 comments Guts was great. Took awhile for the book to get me hooked, but it did. Loved it.

David | 2 comments I really enjoyed that one. I liked the stories of each individual as well as the preludes to each (little poems etc...). I wasn't a huge fan of what was going on within the writers' workshop situation. But overall, I really enjoyed it and Guts was my favorite. Nothing beats his book Rant though.

Jason (jasondenness) | 22 comments I thought this was a really smart book, as I was reading it I thought the writers retreat sounded familiar to me luckily Chuck mentions this in the story.

Fav story has to be about the nightmare box, I would freak out deciding whether to look in it or not... probably would.

Gerard Fleck (gerardfleck) | 2 comments Sometimes with my favorite authors, I have very high expectations when I sit down to read a new book by them. That is how it was with Haunted; I started reading and I liked some of the stories, but all those sections with the characters trapped in the theater, I just couldn't push through that so I stopped. I put it aside and figured I'd have to come back to it some time down the road. And, I will go back and push ahead and read it. Sometimes with a great author, they are ahead of me, and I have to take a run at their new books more than once. This happens to me with William Gibson almost every time.

Jason (jasondenness) | 22 comments Maybe read up on Lord Byron and the retreat he did, might give an idea what's going on. Just a modern day version of that where everybody is selfish and wants to get rick quick.

Wil Hooper (Wil_hoops2013) | 1 comments I had a little trouble getting into this book when I started it as well. Minus "Guts" it starts off kind of weak but by the end I was hooked. "Guts" and "Exodus" were my favorites also.
