Features of the Marvin app for IOS

Have you tried the Marvin app on IOS. I especially love the slide your finger up or down to control brightness feature. Getting the brightness right on the Kindle Fire HD is annoying IMHO. Len, if anyone has the ear of Jeff Bezos it is you. Karen

I like Marvin very much from the little I've been able to play with it (it resides on my wife's iPad). Still waiting for the iPhone version. I hope their business model will provide for sustainable development and support. Unfortunately iOS is not 'friendly' to apps that want to link to a storefront to buy books: Apple requires in-app purchase and a 30% cut which makes it infeasible to support most reading apps with ebook purchases.

There are several reading apps on Android that let you adjust brightness with a gesture and without navigating menus. Fire (not to mention Paperwhite) would indeed benefit with a similar feature.
