Hello - my name is Jo. I don't think I could survive without Goodreads! My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary last December, and we have a 13 year old daughter. I love to read as does everyone else here. I am currently getting my degree so I can eventually be a librarian in a middle school. Well, that's the goal anyway. I mostly read YA, but will sometimes read a "grown-up book" of historical fiction or a thriller. I have a ton more books on my to-read shelf than my read shelf mainly because I find so many books that look interesting. Dislikes - strong language or intimate sex scenes in books, someone incorrectly saying between you and I when they should know the difference (I'm mostly talking about my daughter's language arts teachers), crowds, banal social chit chat

I am a proud aunt to a set of triplets two girl one boy they turned 1 April 13 their names are Harper,Jeter,Brier

I also have a nephew who's name is Kash who turns 1 June 20th he is my baby sisters baby

I claim to be the the middle child and most people think I am but well I kinda share that spot with my bigger sister but most people don't about her ... I didn't know about her till I was 11 or 12 my parents gave her up as baby but know me and my siblings have contact with her and I so happy about ...

So I have a big brother, big sister and a little sister ... Numbers run in my family my mom is 9 yr older then her baby sister who is 9yr older then my big brother who is 9yr older then me and my big sister is 9 yr old the my baby sister.. My brother is 17 months older then my big sister and I am 17 months older then my baby sister who was a SUPERISE lol

I love to read which is only due to a third grade teacher who believe I was special and not stupid she brought my reading level up from a kindergartens to a 3rds in one school she showed me the love of books...

I love to spend time with my family I think that what interferes with my reading most the time right.. My has been sick since Jan. with vertigo and other thing and my dad had back surgery in November now where getting ready for his neck.. I love my family so much even when they can drive me nuts..

I love almost every fruit there is or I have tried the only veggies I eat is a salad or corn everything else is gross lol I hate chocolate with a passion .ugh I just can't eat it .. I addict to coke and green monsters lol... I love to sit outside in the shade and watch our dogs..

Jenifer I'm the same way! I really don't like chocolate all that much. So my boyfriend buys me cheese or pasta instead on valentines day lol.

I love cheese and pastas too ... Know that I have a kindle my siblings give me gift cards for amazon... And my mom will make me pasta or get me a cheese cake ...

Jenifer...My bff has a younger brother who was given up for adoption. She has never had contact with him though. I really think she would love to, but doesn't know where to start.

I also love nearly every fruit. Yummy!

I couldn't go without my chocolate covered cherries. I swear there should be a separate food group just for them.

It took me a couple of months to build up the courage to contact my big sister I have only been getting to know her for the last couple of months it was hard because I used to look like her twin and everyone compared us so now that I am older and now that I don't see it as much made it easier to get to know her cause know one is stopping us from talking and tell us how much we look a like ... We did have a moment when my little sister offered to take our picture to show us but we both turned it down we want to be seen as two different people...

I am glad I did it ... I try and see her and the triplets every Saturday and when I can't I feel a little bummed... Tell your friend to think about it .. I had meet my big sister a couple of time but I was 16 and she was 24 and I just wanted to be a kid so I added her to Facebook and kept up with her threw the years...
