No reason not to do both I guess. I could use CS for Amazon and lulu for the other platforms. If needs be I have a work around the silly times for the author proofs. Triple check it online, then let it go live. Order one from Amazon, which works out a bit cheaper and about 3 weeks quicker, then proof it when it arrives. I can stick it back into draft just after if needed.
Now one of the down sides of Createspace is for non-US authors you need to pay a ruddy fortune in shipping to get the book in less than a month for the author copy. Yes it is slightly chesper and obviously quicker on Amazon but I am really not sure. I had far more issues formatting it for Createspace and on playing about with the templates I don't think I can use the same cover template as my second one has a subtitle and it didn't fit. There is a PDF thingy that can be used but it looks a bit fiddly and I didn't realise when I chose it how awkward it would be for book 2.
I would probably have to put book 1 on Lulu as well, at least via the store and many the global reach which is Barnes and Noble and somewhere else. Which means a new ISBN, and reformatting it probably.
I am really not sure which way to go with it.
