"A storm is coming your way, Skyra," he muttered, and began to dance very sinisterly. The sky began to darken. Rain started to pour. Lightning flashed all over the place.
It was just a hint of the power that Tesir wielded.
Sadly, the dance looked too much like ballet to let anyone see him dancing.

"As agreed," the half-demon told the demon, tossing the drake ahead of him.
Tesir wrung his hands together with victory and glee.
"Very good, very good," he barely concealed the excitement.
Skyra rolled on the ground. It just looked wrong to see such a royal figure on the floor, sprawled and dead like. Her pulse was immensely slow still as she lay unconscious. She had expected Fredrick to be a traitor all along. Why wouldn't he be?

Tesir nodded.
"Of course. Duncan will resurrect himself by invading a host body, that of one young Mathis. This will come about in just a year, in the same school that you sent your son to all those years ago. By the way, why did you send him to Britain?"
"Thank you for the information," Fredrick stepped up to the Golden Demon and stabbed him in the gut with a long dagger.
"Now die."
Skyra was still knocked unconscious but she saw everything and there was so much confusion in her. Dammit Fredrick, make up your bloody mind! She wanted to scream, cursing mentally in Latin. She had also picked up on other information. The whole reason Fredrick was in this was for his son. That made more sense then the righteous act.

"We had a deal!" Tesir screamed, preparing golden bolts of energy.
"I followed it. I delivered the Drake to you disabled. Your safety was not part of the deal, nor was anything that might come after. For example, I could kill you and steal the drake back without breaking the deal."
Fredrick leapt to his feet and drew Blacksblade.
Tesir sent his magical bolts forward.
Fredrick carefully took aim at each of the bolts one at a time, his hightened focus homing in on them faster than technically humanly possible, and shot each bolt out of the sky with green lightning.
"Can the thief of weapons face a living weapon?" he asked Tesir, who gulped.
The first thing Skyra noticed was the cold ground beneath her head. She was stirring. Of course, she didn't move so she didn't give herself away just yet. Skyra needed to assess the situation. Biting her lip, she slowly moved her hand to her chest and flattened it against the ground, not gaining anyone's attention.

A whistling sound pricked Fredrick's ears and he whirled behind him, arcing Blacksblade and cutting off Tesir's hand.
The Golden Demon howled, clearly outmatched on his own territory.
Skyra knew what to do. In an instant, she sprang up, her claws at the ready as she sunk them in Tesir's back in a low crouch. She brought him down, seeming to pin him in place as she connected eyes with Fredrick. All emotion was void, only a command. Slice his head.

"You're confusing me with a hero," Fredrick said simply, plunging Blacksblade into Tesir's head.
Tesir howled and threw something -a chain connecting two rings- into a portal as Fredrick twisted the sword with both hands, prying Tesir's head from his neck.
Tesir's form dissolved into golden energy.
Skyra instantly released him as Fredrick's weapon came in contact with Tesir. She rolled away, claws at the ready. If there was one true thing Fredrick said was that he was no hero. Skyra never trusted him for this reason and never would. Her eyes locked on Fredrick as nothing stood in the way now.

"Is this where we fight to the death, drake? I wasn't expecting it so soon. Tesir's gone. I told you, you can trust me to be his enemy."
He nodded towards a portal behind him and got out of her way so that she could step through it.
"That's where we came in," he said truthfully.
"Go on ahead."
Skyra eyed him warily. "You first, I'll follow." You can say she isn't stupid by the way she stood. Her eyes flickered to the portal and back to Fredrick. "Well?"

"I'm going to follow the weapon he threw out there, make sure it doesn't fall into the wrong hands. That was the thing he'd been using to drain the magic of Supernaturals for thousands of years." He delivered this without remorse.
The demon and banshee were each totally unnecessary thus far.
But there was something he wasn't going to tell Skyra. Tesir wasn't dead. His form, maybe, but Darkness, a much less powerful demon, had managed to survive more than that. The weapon Tesir had thrown was also his dimensional anchor, which his soul was stored up in. If Tesir had managed to transfer his consciousness into it at the last second, which Fredrick believed he had, he could probably create a whole new form in a few minutes. But Skyra could never know that because then he could never find Tesir again. Tesir wouldn't try to get Skyra unless he believed Fredrick was out of the picture. Tesir would suspect a ruse unless he was convinced that Fredrick was fooled when he'd faked death. Skyra could not be effective bait if she knew she was being bait. As long as Tesir believed that Fredrick believed that he was hunting for an inanimate object, the Golden Demon would rear his ugly head again.
And Fredrick would be ready.
Skyra smirked. "You really aren't good at hiding emotions when deep in thought." Her hands were behind her back as she circled around him. Of course she kept a safe distance from the portal. Her eyes glowed a golden hue. "Sorry to announce I do not trust you or your motives. Here's the program. You die." Skyra inclined her head and smirked. "We both agree that's an unlikely choice." She stopped and looked at the portal, "Or you could go through like a good psychopath."

"And this time I'll be fighting for my life, and using actual weapons. If I'd wanted to kill you, you would be dead already. I have had so many opportunities so far and you are still breathing. So you're welcome." Had he been completely different, he would have given her a mock bow, but instead he kept Blacksblade in between her and him.
They both knew that as soon as she stepped within four feet, he could hack her to pieces no matter how fast she moved. He'd plunged the tip point-blank into a lightning bolt just that morning, and Skyra would be a much easier target.
"I have no reason to kill you now that Tesir's beaten."
Skyra was glad she kept her mouth shut on her inner strength when it came to her soul energy. Alas, she didn't make a move to attack. "Fredrick," she said softly, "I don't wish to fight anymore you to me." Her hand spread to the direction of the portal, "I'm only requesting..." ...commanding... "...you to step through so I would assure it is safe. Once I am, you may step back through. We can go our separate ways." Even though I know you will be watching every move I make like a hawk you little bastard.

Had he not been like him he'd have given a mocking bow and said, "by your leave, your majesty," but sadly I can't have that sort of fun with Fredrick because he's sort of humorless. So instead he just stepped through the portal.
Skyra was at crossroads. She could easily just fly her way back to her friends if she followed that scoundrel through the portal he just went. Or she could save herself the trouble. There was an instinct in her, a very strong one that said she should follow him. He was up to something. Clenching her fists, she closed her eyes, and took a deep breath. It's now or never.
She chosen to follow Fredrick through the portal.
She chosen to follow Fredrick through the portal.
((You didn't say the portal closed XD I'm trying to stall their reunion because of my plot twist coming in with the Plat Dragons))
((Go up to Sea about that. We need that extra villainous push and I want her to make a great character so I'm letting her have the time.))
The entrance to here is a portal, but you have no way of knowing which portal inside it you will come to.
Tesir can kill you if you come in, until the time comes for the invasion in which case only those permitted to come will not die. Any extras will be vaporized.
If you go in a portal, I control where you go. If you go in a portal and it brings you exactly where you want, that's lucky. If you say where you come out, Tesir will somehow be there already and vaporize you.
