The cover of the book has a burning wedding dress. The male hero has a sister named Marion and he calls her Merry-Berry. The heroine is married to an ex-cop who is a serial killer, he escapes and kidnaps their daughter. The male hero is ex-special forces or ex-army and teaches the heroine to shoot, and protect herself.
