Kym Jennifer Crusie is good. Bet Me is on my "go to" list. I give it a listen every 3 to 6 months.

For me, a book isn't romantic comedy unless there's actual romance involved. I mean, Kyra Davis' Sophie Katz mysteries are funny, and there's sort of a relationship going on between Sophie and Anatoly, but that relationship isn't the focus. As far as I am concerned, they really should have been shelved in the crime/mystery section.

It's not like there can't be something besides the romance going on, but the focus needs to be on the relationship with other issues either in the background or as plot device to move the couple's story along. Know what I mean?

What gets me is that if there is even vague reference to a relationship AND the book was written by a woman, it is placed in the romance section. The J. D. Robb In Death series uses the romantic relationship as background - so far in the background it could be ignored all together - yet it is shelved in the Romance section of the bookstore. And at one time, anything with witches, vampires and/or werewolves would be shelved in fantasy. Not anymore. It's like publishers are trying to keep little boys (or men) from reading anything involving relationships.

But I digress... Recommendations?

Kym Oops. Hit the done button when I wasn't.

I would recommend Bet Me; Welcome to Temptation; Charlie All Night, all by Jennifer Crusie. In fact, Bet Me is on my "go to" list. I listen (I'm definitely an audiophile!) to it every 3 to 6 months. My sister is the same with Welcome to Temptation.

If you like historical romance, a lot of Julia Quinn would qualify as romantic comedy.

How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf and How to Seduce a Naked Werewolf by Molly Harper are a couple of good ones I've listened to recently. The former is better than the latter.

I'm not sure about the Grim Reaper series by Darynda Jones. Okay, yeah, I'd classify them as romantic comedy because the romance aspect is just as important, if not more so, as the paranormal crime/mystery. This is even though the romantic relationship has stretched over 5 (so far) books.
