Chapter 1-5 (view spoiler)[ it is kind of amazing how different the book is already from the show. I mean I remember danerys being much more meek on the show but not this meek. Tyrian of course is still my favorite. The way they depict Tyrian with the green and black eyes. How Jon was so determined to get himself to the wall. Yea, I'm definitely going to enjoy this... on another note, can I have a dire wolf? Just one will do (hide spoiler)]

Daenerys: She stops a girl getting raped because she is the definition of a fucking boss. ”I am khaleesi, heir to the Seven Kingdoms, the blood of the dragon,” Dany reminded him. “It is not for you to tell me what I cannot do.” I also just love how she treats each person she meets as an actual person, and not as a slave. But then Drogo gets hurt/sick and Dany doesn’t know what to do about it. This made me very sad, even in the TV show, because I really liked them together. Hmm... oh well.



Tyrion: Has a fight/talk with his dad…. I honestly have no idea what it was because I never expect his family to act like his family whenever Tyrion is around. This is also when he meets Shae (which if I remember correctly was one of his whores turned into like a steady girlfriend (I guess you can call it that) and all that shebang.



Catelyn: She has captured Jaime Lannister. She always finds out that her husband has been killed by King Joffrey’s hand. But really it was Queen Cersei because she’s an evil bitch.



Ayra: She finds out that these gentlemen were talking about the bells that are ringing. People were talking about how it was because the King has died but everyone else said that if the King did die then all of the bells would be ringing. Arya then finds out that the bells that were ringing were summoning the Hand for a trial, aka her dad Ned Stark. She heard her dad’s sentence and wanted to stop King Joffrey from killing her dad... but that didn’t happen. Ned still died and Sansa and Arya watched. Well…. Arya was told not to look—but she was there.



Sansa: After realizing that Joffrey is a despicable human being she comes to the conclusion that she doesn’t want to marry the guy that chopped off her dad’s head. I’m glad that she has some sort of brain function, but it’s a little too late girlfriend. You knew he was a monster from the beginning and did absolutely nothing about it. So I don’t care if she suffers or not. (hide spoiler)]

I will say for the most part the parts that I like the most are from Jon and Dany. Her brother is like the devil incarnated, I just don't understand how he can feel so entitled when he needs to beg for an army!! so Viserys finally got what he deserved!!! a golden hot boiling rip the skin of his face crown... Yes... TAKE THAT!!!
Caitlyn bothers me to no end, its almost like she is too ready, too rash, like she makes decisions before she really thinks them out. I really just wanted to tell her to go sit down somewhere.
Sansa....dumbass... all I can say about that.
Cersei, even though she is evil at least she admits it. The only time that I really have heard her lie in the book is when she was speaking to Robert. Hell I admire that she is true to herself.
Now the main part... they freaking beheaded him. JOFFREY needs to die a horrible death, after he promised that he would show mercy, he just kills him. I could almost feel Arya pain when He asked for his head. He is just a horrible person! (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 1-16: (view spoiler)[OH MY GOD! So much has happened and I can't believe I have waited this long to read the third book. I have missed all of these characters and I just know I'm going to get so much heartbreak from this book already.

Okay, I still don't like Catelyn Stark - which is always obvious to me.
Robb sneaky sneaky man. I get that he fell in love and wants to marry someone else but the man made a deal to marry someone completely different. I just have a terrible feeling about this new marriage of his.
Arya is still a bad ass and I can't wait to read more about her (plus I hope she can actually escape the outlaws [aka the brotherhood without banners]).
Bran STAY WITH HODOR! God, I miss hodor so much. That's really all I have to say right now about Bran.
Daenery's, I don't really have much to say about her but I can't wait for her to travel closer to where everyone else is. I need more from her pov!
Sam speaking of needing more POV's - I definitely need more of Sam!! I love this guy!
Jon you sneaky bastard you. Giving up the goods for a girl, which I'm not mad about because that oath you made in the beginning was stupid. We all knew you wouldn't be able to resist the opposite sex. Go make some beautiful babies. Then get your revenge.
Tyrion I feel so fucking bad for you because your family fucking sucks. I hope his dad dies because he's a huge douche. I love him and Shae though <3
Jaime UGH! Okay, so he's like the second Lannister that I actually like but god damn he can become such a douche bag. I hope somehow the stark daughters are safe and stay safe - which I have no idea if he actually does his part of the "deal" but whatever. I just hope he becomes less douchey.
Sansa well uh, at least she's less annoying in this book. I like that she's trying to warn the new wife about the new young king because he really is psychotic and deserves to die. Honestly I have no idea what these Lannisters are fucking drinking but they need to cool it. Raising a bunch of assholes over in that twisted family.
Last but not least, Davos. I don't really know how I feel about this character yet in this book. I'm hoping when I read further on I will come up with a definite opinion.

Other than that! Things are going so well. I'm highly interested. I keep comparing the book to the TV show. I'm also thinking this is when the red wedding happens? RIGHT? Oh god, I need a box of tissues right now! (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 17-32: (view spoiler)[WOW! so much has happened so far and I'm constantly remembering the shows too! I love these books! Okay so far I love that Jamie has had his hand cut off - I mean it's a pretty huge moment in his life. Plus he's a huge asshole and sort of deserved it. Then there's Cersei, who I still hate because she's a Lannister and I don't like pretty much 80% of them. I feel bad for Sansa and Tyrion because they had to marry each other but then again their marriage is pretty smart because it keeps them both safe (in a way - I guess?). Catelyn and Robb are sort of being annoying. Arya and Daenery's are being the bad asses they usually are. And I can't remember is anything else really blew my mind with bran, davos, and jon.

Chapters 33-48: (view spoiler)[OMG OMG OMG! Is death coming up next?!? While I was reading this I just kept picturing the red wedding episode. I have no idea if it's going to happen in this book (but every time a wedding is mentioned I get all excited and then cringe at my own excitement). Okay so Arya just basically keeps getting captured. Everyone by now has heard that Sansa has been married off to Tyrion. Also people are hearing that the two young stark boys have been killed - which I'm glad that Jon doesn't believe. And can I mention how much I love HODOR. And now I'm getting emotional because I've seen all the seasons of GoT and I just want to read about it in this book. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 49-64: (view spoiler)[OMG a ton of stuff happened but all I'm going to mention is how Robb died and then Catelyn died and it definitely reminded me of the episode the red wedding. My mind is blown people that so much of this book was actually in the episodes throughout the seasons. Sometimes that doesn't happen but I'm not shocked - I liked reading about it more than watching it because of how well it is freaking written but still my mind is blown people. Also are Sandor and Arya becoming friends? I thought Arya was a "prisoner" meh oh well I don't hate the friendship. (hide spoiler)]

Finished:(view spoiler)[HOLY CANNOLI PEOPLE! What an ending! and since I didn't mention Tyrion at all in the last comment let me mention how much of a bad ass this guy really is. First his nephew is a jackass and so is the rest of his family because they always put him down due to his size. Well he may be little but he's a savage man. He's accused of killing his nephew and then fucking kills his dad. If that doesn't scream savage as fuck then I don't know what does. My love for his character has grown stronger. I don't even care about the other characters at this point. Overall it was a good book and I can't wait to read the next one! (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 1-10: (view spoiler)[wow a lot has happened so far but I feel like I should mention that I didn't really like it when Sansa ran away because she was assumed the poisoner of the late king. We all knew she didn't do it but ugh it just annoys me that she ran because people really were going to think she did it. I felt bad for Brienne because she had to go out and look all over for her. Then Cersei starts having a breakdown or something with Jaime because she wants him to protect their next son Tommen or whatever. Idk the whole Lannister family is just weird and makes me cringe sometimes. hmm idk about this book - I hope it gets better. (hide spoiler)]
Chapters 11-20: (view spoiler)[Tommen marries Margarey - who is his older brothers widow and it just creeps me out. I'm internally and externally cringing right now. Although Tommen is the way better and nicer brother so 10,000 points for him. Even though a bunch of other stuff has happened in these chapters I just really want to talk about his marriage. I mean, Cersei is already trying to go back to her evil ways and mess this marriage up just because she doesn't like Margarey but I have a feeling this is going to backfire in a big way. I can't wait to read about everything else. (hide spoiler)]
Chapters 21-30: (view spoiler)[The sparrows always somehow creeped me out - I don't really know how to explain it but they just did. And I still hate how Cersei is trying to ruin her sons marriage and stuff and then I thought it was really weird that she wants everyone to respect the King and to listen to whatever he demands. But when he goes to her and demands stuff she's all like oh yeah you have no power until you are of age. I am the king bitch. bow down. blah blah blah. I just want Cersei to die. (hide spoiler)]

It's kind of funny since he was trying to pay his way off of the island but then got caught trying to do so. I love how he's thinking about Sam (BECAUSE I LOVE THAT FRIENDSHIP SO MUCH) and how he worries about him, Gilly, and the baby. So adorable. I also like how he recruited the wildlings to fight. I wonder how this is all going to play out but I hope it's amazing and is beneficial to everyone in the party. (hide spoiler)]
Chapter 43: (view spoiler)[Daenery's watching Dario sleep was a little weird for me. I loved how often Dario joked though - especially about Dany marrying him instead of marrying Hizdahr. It's kind of sad, and I definitely feel bad, because Dany can't marry whoever she wants. I wish she could just be happy and marry someone for love than marrying for power or anything else. I don't know.. I just feel bad. I wonder what else is in store for her.. (hide spoiler)]
