What do I do in my week?

Start a new thread in Monday puzzler Monday morning with an excerpt you like--substituting hero and heroine for their names. We will reas it and see if we recognize it--we might make comments that suggest what book we think it is but we won't say the author or name. Then Tuesday night tell us the Author and book. If you want to respond to someone's comment in between you can so long as you don't give away the answer early.
