From where rider sat the water flowing into the small, pound seemed like dust or sunlight, but the sun was a hard thing to capture, and so he sat in the dark, looking at everything the sun touched, he didn't deserve to be part of one of those things. He thought of renita, and how she seemed like a sister to him, but he left fast, he didn't want to be a scar in anybody's life, and hopefully the happiness he gave her would forever stay. Rider thought of his past, of how big of a coward he was, why didn't he stand up to his dad? He was a coward, and his mom took the fall, and so he had to help everyone else, because he couldn't help himself and he most defiantly could no longer help his mother. He couldn't stand looking at himself in the mirror, he had grown to hate himself, and the hate was turned to sadness, and so there. There he sat, closing his eyes, imagining the stars having no fault, what an easy life it would be if that were to be so. He ran his fingers through the moist sand, humming inside his head.

Bridget was exploring right above the cavern. Actually, she hd not even known that it was a cavern until she slipped, and landed in a puddle. Great. She had just changed her clothes at home. Her wolf was laughing it's head off at how pathetic Bridget was. yeah yeah, laugh all you want Bridget thought. She hadn't even noticed that there was someone else in the cavern for she was to busy entangled in her own problems.
Rider looked up, immediately sensing that she was a Silvermoon, he cocked his head, surprised that she hadn't sensed him yet, but when she fell into the puddles with a splash, he was right there grabbing her arm and helping her up, moving her out of the dripping water "are you okay?" He asked her. Mud was caked to her clothes, and to her skin, to much to tell if there was any 'connection', but thats not what rider was thinking about, he was thinking to keep his distance, Silvermoon and Shadowfield weren't to friendly towards another, and he wondered if she was the same way, to him the whole fight between the two packs was childish, and ignorant. Rider looked in her eyes, and saw something lost, distance, and knew that there was healing to be done in her heart.
"Yeah, Im fine, just clumsy" she said, after she regained her balance. she was covered in mud, and probably looked like 'the mud monster' from an old story used to get kids to eat their veggies. She sighed in frustration. "Sorry for ruining your peace. It wasn't my intention to fall in here" He said, feeling that she needed to apologize. She could sense that he was Shadowfield, but honestly couldn't care less. She was glad the packs were finally going to unite. The fude had gone on long enough, and she was glad that finally someone had tames the two packs, and gotten them into the mood of a convergance. She looked up at her rescure, or so to say. Nice guy. Most would have left, or just ignored her.
((sorry, I had to eat dinner, and i have homework so sorry if it takes a while for me to post))
"Im glad your alright." He said making sure she was steady on her feet, before he let her go. "Ahh, don't say sorry, I'm just sorry I didn't catch you and save you from this mud." He was glad that she didnt seem bothered that he was Shadowfield.
She smiled lightly. "It's fine, I mean, I'll wash off" She said. She was still brushing off a lot of it off of herself, but she looked better now. She took a breath, as if to steady herself for embarrassment. "Im Bridget" She said with a smile. Thanks goodness her hand was not muddy, so she extended it as a friendly gesture.
Rider nodded and then He shook her hand, and looked in her eyes, she was beautiful he smiled lightly, "rider " rider opened his eyes widely, as he felt a shocking/ tingling sensation.
The shock/ tingle she experiance practically made Bridget jump. She looked down at their hands, disbelieving what had just happened. She pulled her hand back from his. How was it possible? She had been told that because of the all the bad luck in her family she would never find her mate, and yet, here he was. He waolf was doing little flips in her mind, and trying to break free from its' barriers. Bridget was left stunned, she looked back up at him, looking right into his eyes. She had a feeling that fear was in her eyes, but she couldn't help it. She couldn't bring him into her world of bad luck. She watched as her parents lost themselves, and she was not willing to go down the same path as them.
Rider looked at her almost sadly said he were her worst nightmares and so he backed away, he herd of wolves not wanting to ever find their mate, and maybe she was one of them. Rider had to admit that he had never really thought about his mate, and he didn't really want to rush into it, but to not have one, maybe.... But he felt a little uncomfortable that she didn't know him and she was already judging him. "Im sorry." He said quietly, looking down at his hands, he didn't want to leave another scar someone else's life
"don't be" She said. She could see the hurt in his eyes, and it pained her that she had caused him that pain. How could she explain herself? Hew wold was wimpering inside her head. Bridget felt like wimpering herself. "It's not...this....uhm, how do i say this" She had no idea how to say it, and now she was getting frusterated. Maybe it would be best just to say it. "Im bad luck, I always have been, people leave, and die around me, including my family, and I have always been scared that when I find the one, meaning you, that i would would lose them... you too, and I can't stand the though, and im really sorry" She said really quickly. She knew that she was rambling, but she didn't know how esle to say it. Her heart hurt just at the thought of losing her mate even though they had only just met.
He moved in closer and smiled softly, "well, its a good thing I don't believe in bad luck." He wanted to comfort her, wanted to tell her everything would be alright, rider moved closer still brushing hair out of her face with his fingers "thats why we have each other, to help each other, your not a curse, your a beautiful young women." He wondered if what she said was true or if she was just scared. He looked at her intently savoring her smell, she was quite amazing ((Sorry that Im taking so long))
((it's okay))
Bridgets heart rate suddenly picked up. Her eyes searched his, and somehow, she knew that they would get through this, even if she was on the verge of having a panic attack. Her wolf was bouncing like a pup. Now who was acting like a child? She smiled softl at Rider, giving in to his comforting words. They washed over her, and help to calm her slighly.

Rider sighed, relieved as he saw the light in her eyes as she calmed down, a new energy. Rider smiled lightly, and let out a small breath, he rubbed his thumb smoothly across her cheek, "don't worry." His wolf wanted her, but he had long forgotten what his wolf wanted. "You are beautiful." He said, and the stepped a little away from her, but still watching her intently
A blush rose to her cheeks, making them a light shade of pink. She was soooo not used to comlements. She looked down at the ground, and asked. "While I'm covered in mud?". She would have to change her clothes once she got home, because this was just rediculous, and embarrassing.
He gently used his fingers to lift her chin, "you could be covered in many things, but that would not change the light you give off, it would not change you are beautiful no matter what, everything that you do, should it be falling in mud, you do it i grace, don't you see it Bridget? Your truly beautiful." He said in a gentle tone, quietly, as if it was sacred.
Well, now she was blushing a red rose color. she would have to get used to this because appearntly today was compliment day. Her eyes were shining with what could be described as pure joy. At first she had been totally freaked out by the fact that she had a mate at all, and now, as her skin tingled where he touched her, she felt over joyed. Her wolf was even happier that Bridget. Bouncing around everywhere, her wolf was resetless, but Bridget blocked her, so she would not end up acedentally shifting.
"Would you like to go to dinner with me tonight?" He asked her seeing her blush, but he didnt want to rush her. He cocked her head he wanted to learn everything about her, he looked at the water rushing own, and smiled softly
She smiled "I'd love to" She said. Her voice was sweet and caring. She could tell that he did not want to rush her, and she was glad that he didn't. She could use this time to sort over some things, and to get more fermilliar with her mate.
He smiled, a little shy, "and where do you live, so I can pick you up at seven?" He could probably sniff out her house or where she lived, but he wanted this to be a normal date.
She couldn't help but laugh softly. "The House by the cliff, in the Silvermoon territory. It's right beside the boarder of the town" She said. She knew that he would be able to find her even without and adress, but he was being a gentleman fram what she could tell.
"I promise that you won't" She said, her eyes smiling. Her wolf was now freaking out. It growled at the thought of anyone laying a hand on her mate.
He smiled and bowed and kissed her hand, yes, it was cheesy, but he also thought it was the right thing to dodo he kissed her hand and said softly "I'll pick you up at seven."
Bridgets heart was in her throat. She thought she might faint, as the now welcome tingles came when he kissed her hand. "See you then" She said softly, almost breathlessly.
He couldn't get over the sensation of just being near her, let alone kissing her, even if it is just her hand. He nodded, not wanting to leave her
She honestly didn't want to leave. It just felt right being here, with him. She felt safe for the first time in years. She kept her eyes on him, not able to set them on anything or anyone other than him.
((Aww okay bye :)))He offered his arm, "would you like me to walk you home?" He asked looking at her and smiling softly
"sure but i wouldn't want to get you muddy" She said, seeing that he was offering her his arm.
((sorry))
She smiled, as they started walking. She didn't want it get awkward, so she offeredup a game. "Would you like to play 20 questions? You know to get to know each other" She said, adding in the last part so he didn't think that she was childish.

(Your fine :))He turned and smiled at her, "what a great idea." He said softly, "you go first then." His voice was breezy and he was glad that she brought it up
"alright lets start easy. How old are you?" She asked. She was quite curious. She was also glad that he seemed keen to the idea.
She blushed lightly. Now what if he treated her differently because she was younger. "Eighteen" She said quickly. "I'll be nineteen in a few months" She added quickly. Oh boy, this would be interessting. Her wolf didn't really see any problem in age, and Bridget didn't think so either, but what if Rider did?
Rider frowned, seeing the look on her face, "don't be embarrassed of your age, its just a number." He said softly and really, it was a two year difference, no big deal. He did t mind about age, "okay next question." He said lightly, he didnt want this to get awkward. ,"hmmm favorite food?"
She thought for a moment before saying "Pasta. I'm a sucker for anything Italian. What about you?" She asked, truthfully interssted.
Rider let out a grin, "same here, but Im mostly for spaghetti and meat balls." He said looking at her, the sun seemed to bounce off her skin, like she was alumonating light. "Your turn." He said softly
What could she ask? She had no idea for she felt like she knew him already, but that was probably just the 'soul mate' bond speaking. "Oh, I have a good one. where were you born?" She asked. She knew that not all the wolves had been born in these two specific packs. Bridget hadn't at least.
Rider scoffed at the thought "I was born in a gas station bathroom, a few miles from here." He said averting his gaze down, "what about you?" He said quietly.
Wow, that was a surprise. "Right on the boarder of Italy in my dad's car. Probably the reason I like Italian so much" She said as an after thouight. She didn't metion that her dad had to buy a new car afterwards though.
Rider looked up and smiled, "probably." He said, he ran a hand across the right side of his face, he felt bonded to her already in a weird sort of way, "hobbies?" He asked to keep the conversation going
"It's actually really weird. I like to colect napkins" She said. She didn't know why, but she just loved the different colors,a dn the differnt textures.
Rider stopped and looked at her for a second before he kept walking, he chuckled a little, "thats fun, Im just glad you don't collect bugs and then experiment on them."
She tripped and nearly fell when he said that, but quickly steadied herself again. "why do you collect bug and experiment on them?" She asked, just trying to get her facts straight.
Rider laughed and shook his head ready to catch her , "no, are you kidding me, what if that bug had a family it needs to take care of?" He slightly joked. "No, I don't experiment on bugs, or catch them for that matter."
She sighed relieved. "Thank goodness, you had me worried there" She said with mock seriousness. She smiled, unable to keep the seriousness going. "So what are you hobbies?" she asked.
She laughed. "If it's more than 12 hours a day sure. Why not?" She said. Her eyes were shining with her smile. They were now almost to her place. So far no one had approched them at all from her pack which was a good thing.
