Got no reading done today. Worked all day then went with my cousin to volunteer at the homeless shelter. We serve dinner every 3rd Monday of the month.

Haha, "The Bachelor" is the reason I'm a obsessive reader - my sister loved it and shows like it, so when I lived with her, I stayed in my room and read instead of polluting my brain with it! It's so insulting to women, if you ask me!

Julia, been missing ya so thought I'd drop off this key lime cake I just made. Hope you like it. It's dreary and wet here today so cooking, reading and playing games to get my mind off of it. Really wanted to get my new bike and start riding today. Ah well, lemonade out of lemons or in this case cake out of key limes. Enjoy.

Thanks for the Boston creme pie - love that stuff. I am getting a bicycle. Love to walk and work out at gym so adding another layer. My daughters gave me gift cards for Mother's day with a bicycle in mind. Now if the blasted weather would just cooperate. Day trips are always fun. Enough of a getaway to enjoy but no packing involved. Love vacations but sometimes the short ones are the most fun. Hope you enjoy yours. Can't wait to hear what you did.
