This was the first book I reviewed on my blog, this was by the author David Staniforth and his book Alloria, please have a lookie and like or comment!

                                                              

Alloria Alloria, where do i start with this book. I have never read a book written by David Staniforth before and i have to say it was a pleasant surprise. There will be no ranting & no bad mouthing by me today as i have nothing but praise for this book!

After fighting my way to the couch, all my chores and housework done (you know how it is) it was time to start, nothing was getting in the way of this .....

A great first novel of the series ‘Experiment in Terror’!!

I didn’t know what to expect with this book, I have never read anything by Karina Halle before but since it was highly rated by a lot of people, I thought I would give it a shot. As a rule, spooky ass books are not normaly my thing.

I wasn’t disappointed!

Okay, I've been slacking in updating this topic, so here's a triple whammy for you today - I've got links to three reviews I have done! I hope you like them!!

                                                                                

OH MY GOD YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME? I ran with this book trying to be forgiving, I kept telling myself not to be so spiteful and hateful toward it as I believed this was self published. I mean… if grammar was a living, breathing person, I’m pretty sure he would go and jump off a cliff after reading this. God knows i tried myself.

But really??? Someone read this and decided to publish it? I’m pretty sure the family cat could have done a better job at editing. For example… is it really necessary to say three times in a paragraph how someone’s eyes made her feel? There was just SO much waffle. If i was reading a paper copy i probably would have flicked ahead to see the impending misery which was the next couple of hours of my life.

Oh no! What an ending. . . can’t believe I’ve been left hanging like this. So i don’t spoiler this to hell on the very first paragraph, I’ll shut up now.

Ok, so this was ‘Few are chosen’ by M.T. McGuire. An amazing little gem i might not have ever gotten round to reading without a slight push in the right direction. I did read the blurb, however, it sounded soooo strange? I wasn’t convinced it was something i would enjoy.

First off, let me explain my rating of 3.5 stars. I just want to make it abundantly clear this is a GOOD scoring, not a bad scoring. I would give it a 4 star (which is the same as alot of the books i love) however there are few parts of the book i fell out with. Firstly, there are a few spelling errors. I’m not gonna be pedantic and start listing these out (im not THAT ocd), however, i think with a little tidying up this novel could indeed be ‘Remarkable’… (sorry, that was lame.) A few areas of the storyline did lul at some point, but nothing ghastly enough to make me put it down for an unmentionable amount of time.

You can spell and write and you are better than you think, otherwise your wouldn't have as many people who love your reviews!!!

Hummm.... i guess i could dally in writing the first chapter of a story thats been bouncing around my brain for the last couple of years... writing is scary!! I dont know how you guys do it :) !!

We're all masachists at heart and derive pleasure from being humiliated or mistreated, by others or by ourselves. Every so often someone comes along who likes what we've written, and shouts it out loud, which makes it all worth while. :D

Ok, this is my first ever poetry review, so please bear with me on this. I’m not usually a fan, but the author herself and the beautiful cover artwork really drew me to this book. I’ve always had a soft spot for all things gothic and vampiric (not talking sparkly vampires here, if that’s your thing, I suggest you turn around now & NEVER return.) Uh, so yeah… I really wanted to give this a try! .....

And the rumours are true David - here's another review for you all to enjoy!! Its for Terra Harmony and her book Water.

                                                                              

Let me start by saying, this is NOT what i expected. Also, YOU can expect minor spoilers in this review, hopefully nothing too ground breaking however.

To be honest i started reading this book as i was in the mood for some YA cheese. I spotted it whilst surfing on Amazon, Book 1 – Water was being sold as a freebie which i found appealing.

I soon found this wasn’t what i was expecting at all…. it went from mildly boring moaning female lead to – holy crap she’s being raped by an inanimate object-!! This certainly was not the book i thought i picked up. The cover is beautiful, there’s no skirting that issue but that’s where the pretty ends. Things get shocking to say the least! .....

Interesting review ... sounds like the type of book I would stay away from.

I've said it once and I'll say it again - the cover speaks volumes. I bet it sold loads of book and loads downloaded it because of the cover and didn't bother to read the blub!!

I feel I need to justify my rating on this book. I’m giving it 3 stars but as i keep trying to stress, this isn’t a bad rating. The book was good, I liked the imagination. It just wasn’t 100% to my taste, but you can’t expect everything to be.

Ok, this is the first fantasy romance I’ve read in AAAAAAAGES and I totally forgot just how much I loved them!!! I also read this book with my WONDERFUL *squeezy huggy* Book Buddy and reviewer extraordinaire, Miss Branwen *bows her into the room*. You can find her review of this book linked below.

Forever Fae is a fantasy/romance novel about a Princess of the Summer Court in the land of the Fae (far-far-away). The lead character and said princess is named Calista. Shes a frickin awesome heroine and sex-betch who can just about kick anyone (or anything’s) butt.
