Jace and Clary just work better together. Simon is sweet but he and Clary are just too close to be dating. He works much better with Isabelle. :)

In my opinion, Jace is the perfect for Clary. Simon on the other hand, I think is a good match with Izzy. He balances Izzy out and you can obviously tell that they both love each other so much. I'm not saying that Simon shouldn't have anything to do with Clary, but I think he's much much better at being her best friend. I hope they stay best friends in TDA
Jace I think if clary wouldn't have met jace maybe they would be together but they just don't have the chemistry

Jace and Clary are a perfect match, while I think that Simon and Izzy go really well together. And as for the infernal devices I'm definitely team Will!
I want Jace and Clary to be together even though I only read the first book^^ I agree that Izzy and Simon would be good togther.
Jace. Simon is nice, but he doesn't seem like the person that should compete with Jace, I'm sure lots of people are Team Jace :D
Team Jace. I loved Simon but he was definitely better friend material where as Jace was the perfect match for Clary in my book.

LOL."That is the reason why i couldn't choose Simon! He gets on my nerves. When i finished the book, I closed it and was in shock. lol
All these comments are all Jace this, Jace that. And I'm like Simon is all mine then. You bitches, don't even get close!
Why is this even a question? Can't a girl have a male friend without people shipping them together? And I get it, City of Ashes, but eventually Simon came to his senses. Clary and Simon have a beautiful friendship and I, frankly, am disgusted when I see or hear people messing up that strong image of friendship by considering Clary and Simon as romantic partners. I understand that there are people who feel differently, but I, for one, can't understand what satisfaction there is in considering two friends as lovers simply because they're of opposite sexes and one had an infatuation with the other that began when they weren't even in middle school yet.
^^^ they were actually romantic all involved though and some people think that Simon might have been better to clary than jace was or they simply think Simon is a better person. You don't need to look too deep into this. It's just a fun thread about a fun book you don't need to be a buzzkill

You don't need to l..."Okay, I see what you're saying, but I disagree. I know that Simon was better to Clary than Jace was at the beginning, but I don't see how that proves he's a better love interest for Clary. Also, I do need to look deep into this because though this might just be a fun thread, my feelings and thoughts about this series run deeper than that. I love City of Bones and the rest of the Mortal Instruments, so to me, it's more than just a "fun book". And when did thinking about something for more than a few seconds or minutes become being a "buzzkill"? I apologize if my comment upset you, but I have the right to share my opinion just as you have the right to share yours. Good day.
