Reading time problems

Watch your tivo'd Band of Brothers Andrew - it's ace. Watched another 2 Homelands last night and DL was better but still think he finds it difficult to portray a range of emotions.....

I enjoyed the Woman in Black at the theatre. the films good but I think it works better as a play you get a better feeling of isolation when its all on one set I think.

When we saw it a friend nipped to the loo halfway through and came back looking very play as he'd seen the Woman in Black sat in the bar in full costume & makeup :)

I was amazed at how many people dressed as cats when we went to see Cats.

I am going to see 'Les Mis' on stage next week - be a bit tricky to get dressed up got that I think? Lol wonder if anyone does ?

I think I saw 'Homeland' - found it too stressful .

Nikks, on the 12 occasions I have seen Les Mis, I have never seen anyone dress up!!

Yes, I'm a huge fan of Les Mis. I did see the film three times :) Mostly it was good, Hugh Jackman was surprisingly good, Anne Hathaway was excellent. Russell Crowe should never have been allowed near the set, he was the one thing that let it down

I agree, I really thought Hugh jackman deserved the Oscar - I felt he put his heart and soul into the part. I listen to the soundtrack all the time and can't wait to see it on stage. How exciting.

Social Media! As a first time self-published author I have to undertake all my own publicity, marketing and promotion. This seriously gets in the way of my reading AND writing but there seems little alternative as I do not have a budget that allows me to employ a publicist etc. Also when there is a little time free which should I do read, write or get on with my other responsibilities? Always a challenge.

A month ago I deactivated my Facebook account, it's amazing how much more time I seem to have.

I would undoubtedly have more reading time if I reduced my Twitter time. But I have followers to entertain with my dreadful puns, examples of ditziness and general weirdness!!

Really like the recent GR page shuffle that has put the readers may also like feature more prominently at the top.......giving me lots of inspiration, but spending more time on GR and less time reading.
