I'm currently reading Solaris by Stanislaw Lem.

I really enjoyed this. I read it after I read The Fault In Our Stars..."
I loved Looking for Alaska. I really want to read The Fault in Our Stars too but I always wait until books come out in soft cover. I will not pay hard cover prices. I am looking forward to it though.

Oh, I have that one and plan to read it soon! I hope you like it. I hope I like it!!!

Right now, I'm reading a book called Vintage Magic by Sally Anne Morris. I only read one chapter last night, but I already really like the author's voice. I've already read a book by her and really enjoyed it, so it seems like this one is going to be just as good so far. I hope so!
There are some great books on this thread. I love Northanger Abbey and Sense and Sensibility, they are my joint favourites of Jane Austen! Also, it sounds like I really need to read John Green.....I've never read anything by him and it sounds like he is really good.

So far - so GREAT!!

Did you read the whole series the third book comes out in September or November!

also have a new take on it having now had some literary studies education. the true meaning of the word "memoir" has had an effect on my reading.
I'm reading The Marriage Plot by Jeffrey Eugenides, I'm enjoying it so far everyone on Goodreads seems to hate it though.

I picked up Your Heart Belongs to Me forever ago because I love Dean Koontz's writing, but it has been sitting on my bookshelf ever since. I'm going to have to move it up my TBR list. I almost forgot about it!

My Mom loves that book! She's read it two or three times!

I felt that she was very long winded. She could have cut a couple hundred pages off the book and it would have been better. I know a lot of people that have read it and it seems to be 50/50 - half really enjoying it and half that couldn't get into it. It was just ok for me. I had some issues with certain character traits and too long descriptions. I think I teetered between 2 & 3 stars and ended up giving it 3, but probably won't read the next book.
Something you should know - This is meant to be read in conjunction with the other books. This book does not have an ending. It just leads into the next book.

Also a great book so far, highly recommended by my niece, "Maximum Ride, The Angel Experiment"

On deck, even more highly recommended by my other niece: "The Phantom Tollbooth," by Norton Juster.

They seem to be quite different. And all three are very different from the three books I'm writing right now.

If you like unwind there is a second book with a third coming out this fall!

If you like un..."
Thanks Colleen. I just realized that it was part of a series. When I started reading it, I thought it was a stand alone book. It is a series that I would continue with.

I really liked The Marriage Plot so here is ONE person on Goodreads that liked it :) I think his writing style is excellent and he offers a new take on depression - from both sides. I thought it was very good.

The Book Thief was one of my favorite books last year..actually probably of all time. Great book.

I think that there are two different Colleen's on here because I have gotten emails about comments that I haven't made but I'm glad that you found out that "Unwind" was part of a series

The Catcher in the Rye is a fantastic book! Hope you enjoy it :)

I'm just finishing off 'Fahrenheit 451' now...

I'm just finishing off 'Fahrenheit 451' now..."
