message 253: by Amy (new)

Amy (amya023) I am currently reading Friendship Bread by Darien Gee. My local library had done a book discussion on it, and after seeing my boss rate it on Goodreads, I decided to check it out. I normally am not a fan of what some call 'chick lit' or 'girly novels' but I wanted to read something light, as I have to read a lot of emotional and hard to stomach information for school (I am a social work major). So far I like it! It has a lot of characters that remind me of people I know.
