I cant wait for the movie too! And I just finished the second book..."
Insurgent isn't as good as Divergent. :)

Why does everyone say so?
I loved Insurgent more :(

Though i'm out of dystopian novels sigh.
Right now i'm reading 'Boys Don't Cry' by Malorie Blackman. Generally not a fan of realistic fiction, but it's pretty good (i'm certainly hooked)

Really? I just thought Divergent had a better pace... And, in Insurgent, Tris started acting like Bella! :P

This Lullaby is her best work, I think. But I like this one too :)

Well, I liked Divergent more because 1)Tris was struggling between her past and future 2) A lot of new characters 3) Intrigue about an evil leader 4) A lot of cool and sometimes cruel tests 5) Four!
In Insurgent 1) Tris' lovestory became a little boring 2) Characters do stupid or cliché things 3) Evil is not that clever and makes stupid decisions 4)Quite predictable storyline. So... Divergent is better!
Sorry for that. Currently reading Hallowed. First one was good :)

Now- Crash Series by Nicole Williams or Thoughtless Series by S.C stephens ?

I haven't read THE TWILIGHT SAGA yet because my friends discouraged me to.
So, IDK about Bella's behavior!
However, I concede that Tris's behavior was extremely annoying at some times, but I think the ending of Insurgent made up for all that crap.
You may have a point though. It's been a long time since I've read Divergent. It was basically two years ago so I might have forgotten how much I've enjoyed reading it.

*scratching my head*
You do have a point guys. Like I mentioned before, I've read Divergent about two years ago so I can't judge the book fairly.
Hmmm!
When's the movie coming out? I might need to reread the books.

I‘m also reading “the chronichles of narnia“, just finished the first book, hopefully will start the next one soon.
I'm reading 'All the sad young men' by F Scott Fitzgerald. It is a book of his short stories & I'm really enjoying it.

You just expressed the feelings I had with.................Divergent.
- Boring love story ("Just go on!")
- Cliché things (especially when they speak)
- Stupid decisions (I was boiling for some of them)
- Predicable storyline (I knew who Four/Tobias was, even before he speaks. Not a lot of surprises)
If the 2nd one is like this, should I read it? I do not want to be bored and fed up.

NO NO Read it:)
I found it more enjoyable than Divergent.
There were some stupid decisions made and some annoying cliché scenes but I've enjoyed reading it nonetheless cuz I really appreciated the ending. Sorta amazing unexpected ending.
P.S. It is a 4-stars read.

Well, you should at least start reading it. I mean, you can always stop reading or skip some pages, but usually people who dislike Divergent suddenly love Insurgent. Weird, but maybe you'll be one of them :)
PS And the ending is good!

I agree with you Kierra.
Mel, you should it a shot. You may find it worthy of your time or not. P.S. Maybe you could find an online excerpt of Insurgent.

I really enjoyed that book!! I hope you are liking it. It was a real find at a used bookstore, they had it marked for $1.00. I love when that happens.

Oh Mmm Gee!
How could you focus while reading all of those?
I usually read two books at a time but that's it.
Happy Reading!

-Starters by Lissa Price

-Bitter End by Jennifer Brown

-Unbreakable by Eli..."
The answer to that is: I rotate through books. Like, Starters today, Light tomorrow :) And for focusing on characters and setting and other details, it's not easy, but most of the time I manage to keep it all straight. I'm good at multitasking :)

-Starters by Lissa Price
-Bitter End by Jennifer Brown ..."
Wow, it's fantastic. How do you even remember all the characters in these books? I tried reading 4 books at the same time and I was already confused with the amount of names. But you're great if you can handle all of them at once!

-Starters by Lissa Price

-Bitter End by Jennifer Brown [bookcover:Bitter End..."
That's SO fucking amazing :)
You're pretty awesome if you could handle that.
P.S. The Truth About Forever is one of my favorite chicklits :)
