He sighed but reluctantly followed. He just didn't want to get caught out here. It was forbidden and they could be exiled from daggers hill.

As Derrick was practically being dragged back out of the cave, a strange feeling overtook him. He looked back and seen that the cave his further back. Or at least he thought. He jerked his hand away from her and began waking back. Despite what his brain was telling him. The cave ends with a sudden drop, but due sure reason, hee couldn't stop himself. It was like someone had control over him. He slowly began inching cost and closer to his death
He began muttering incoherently as he continued walking. His inner self was pounding at his skull, trying to get him to listen, but his body had other ideas.

His body came to a stop and he looked at her. Due to all the straining her out on himself off trying to get him to stop, he collapsed to the ground.
He let out faint groans here and there, but stayed still. He was breathing, but barely. He tried to gather his inner self, still fighting off the darkness inside of him
