Isabelle glanced at him and then sighed softly. She looked away from him

Tristan closed his eyes for a minute. "What are you thinking about?" he asked.
Isabelle looked at him finally," just of home." She answered softly. She wasn't trying to complain just trying to be honest since he was honest with her as far as she could tell.
Tristan nodded. It made sense but he was hoping that she was beginning to get less upset.
Isabelle looked at him," why did you ask that?" She asks softly
"You just seem to be deep in thought and you seemed upset," Tristan said.
Isabelle nodded just a little bit," I don't know if upset is the right word but maybe homesick." She said softly
Tristan said, "Okay. I understand that." He nodded. He didn't know what to say and he knew that nothing he said would stop her from being homesick.
Isabelle nodded slightly," I'll be alright." She said softly looking back at him
"I know," he said quickly. He knew that she was strong enough to get through it but he wished that he could help.
Isabelle looked at him for a little bit," So what exactly happens now?" She asked just wanting him to distract her
"I don't know exactly. You'll get better and you'll be able to see your family again," Tristan said, "We'll figure out what to do after."
Isabelle nodded a little bit," okay then." She said softly looking at him," will I only get to see my family once or will I be able to actually visit them?"
"You could visit them many times, I'm sure," Tristan said quickly. He'd work to get them to be able to meet without giving away their location.
Isabelle looked at him," you aren't just saying that to make me happy are you?" She asked softly wanting to believe he wouldn't just say things to get her to stay and be happy with him
Tristan shook his head and looked her right in the eyes. "No, I'm not. I'm going to try very hard to let you meet the. It's the least I could do since I'm making you stay here," he said.
Isabelle nodded a little bit," okay I can deal with just seeing them every once in a while I guess." She said softly," umm are you going to be coming with me?"
Tristan hesitated. "I don't know. I'll think about it. I'm just worried about giving up our location. I also won't go if you don't want me to," he said.
"How would that happen... I don't even really know where we are right now." She said staring at him. "Maybe you shouldn't come at first." She suggested softly
Tristan said, "We are still in the country but very far away. I'm sure about how that would happen but I would like to be careful. And I won't go with you then."
Isabelle nodded a little bit," I understand I guess... But I can like keep my eyes shut or something so I don't know how far away we are." She answered thinking after a little bit
"I'll probably just teleport us. It'll be faster," Tristan said. He shrugged thinking that it was normal which it was for him.
"You can what?" She asked sitting up and staring at him. She was very surprised at what he just said
"I'll teleport us," Tristan said, "Didn't I tell you the powers that I have as a vampire?" He furrowed his eye brows a little confused.
Isabelle shook her head," No and if you did I either wasn't listening or I thought you were just pulling my leg and making fun of me."
"I guess I forgot then," Tristan said letting her know he wouldn't do that. "Well I'm a vampire and I have a lot of abilities as a result. Teleportation is one," he explained.
Isabelle nodded slightly," okay... I know you are a vampire but I guess I didn't think you could have abilities like those vampires in movies.. So other than teleportation... What else can you do so I don't sound like I'm squealing when you say something else."
Tristan laughed. "I can shape shift, I have heightened senses, super strength, and can read minds if I'm touching the person," he said listing the things he remembered.
"Okay so you can't read my mind now can you?" She asked not really hearing the last part of his statement.
"No. If I touch you I might be able to. I'd only did it if you wanted to or I had to," Tristan said.
"Ohhh okay I just wanted to make sure." She answered softly looking at him
Tristan smiled. "Okay," he said with a nod.
"So you have to be touching me... That's kind of weird and nice sort of too."She said
Tristan laughed. "I guess so," he said.
Isabelle smiled a little bit," well it's nice for me." She answered giggling a little
Tristan smiled. "I'm sure. I guess I'll have to be human and ask you what you're thinking then?" he asked jokingly.
Isabelle laughed at that," Yes you will have to be human and ask me what I'm thinking and you will just have to believe what I tell you." She told him," Until I prove what I'm saying is wrong."
Tristan sighed. "Just if I have a lie detector kit," he said while shaking his head. Then, he laughed and asked, "You do seem like an honest person so I'll trust you."
Isabelle giggled and laid back down next to him,"I'm not going to lie to you." She told him,"
I will try to be as honest as I can."
Tristan smiled. "Okay. I'll be honest then back if you want to know anything," he said.
Isabelle nodded a little bit," okay that sounds like a good idea." She replied
Tristan nodded too. "Is it because I came up with it?" he asked joking.
"Nope because I think it's a good idea." She answered giggling
Tristan nodded. "I'm sure. Keep telling yourself that," he said joking.
Isabelle laughed," I will." She answered giggling still.
Tristan smiled glad that he was able to make her laugh.
Isabelle smiled at him," why are you looking at me like that?" Se asked
Tristan shrugged. "I don't know. I guess it's just nice that you're happy and that I'm the one making you feel that way," he said.
Isabelle smiled a little bit," I am happy." She said softly," I mean I still don't feel very well but I guess I'm better now." She answered
Tristan smiled. "I'm glad. Well, about the part that you're happy not sick. That's no fun," he said.
