Kat (katsobsession) | 39 comments I read this fantasy trilogy like 10 years ago, and really liked it, and I'm pretty sure it is now out of print. I can't remember the name of the books, the trilogy, or any of the characters, or the author's name, but I know it's a trilogy, and I'm pretty sure the predominant color of the first book's cover is blue.

I posted here: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...

about this, and they directed me here. Hope you can help!

Kagama-the Literaturevixen | 599 comments It might be The Earthsea trilogy by Ursula K. Le Guin ? The main character can summon birds of prey and can turn into a falcon later in the first book.

Hes a wizard. The first book is A Wizard of Earthsea
