Dawn walked into English with a sigh. She could get through this class. She sat down at a desk and pulled out a book to read while waiting for the teacher.
((My vote goes to boy, but of course that wasn't aimed at me.))

((kk))
Dawn looked up at Beca and smiled.
Dawn looked up at Beca and smiled.

Dawn tapped her fingers on her desk, making the floor vibrate.
Dawn looked at Helena. She was still making the floor vibrate.
Dawn clapped softly, aiming the sonic power softly at Beca, hoping to wake her. She was worried if the teacher came and saw her classmate sleeping, that it would end badly.
Dawn smiled and walked over to her. "Just wanted to make sure you wouldn't get into trouble if a teacher came." She said softly.
Snow sneak in and sat in a seat
"Ewww," one girl said. Her name was Tina and her school record was completely clean of absences and anything lower than A's but her personality? It deserved an F. "Goth mutant love? OMG," she let her nails dry in class, already having finished her work, "Like loving a mutant--that guy or whatever shouldn't like her. She's like, illegal and stuff. Am I right? It should be illegal like gay marriage, y'know?"

Beca walked in and heard that. "Wait, who's a mutant?" Her hands shook, fearing she was found out.
"Like I'm surrounded," Tina said flashing him a killer smile then looking back at Snow.
"Is there something you'd like to say, Tina?" The teacher asked.
Tina hid an eyeroll, "I was wondering," she said in her sweetest voice, "If muties should be allowed to love, like, other muties? Isn't it a well known fact that all muties are dangerous? Do we really want that in the gene pool?"

"No it shouldn't be ileagle most mutant save lives, We are treated like we are nothing by people like you"
"Mutant's aren't nothing," Tina said, "If they were, we wouldn't have this discussion."
"Interesting point, Tina," the teacher said, "But you see, scientifically, the mutant gene is only passed on by the father so unless he is a mutant... There is nothing to be worried about."

Snow look back "Something wrong?" she asked
"Yeah, warn the guy--Oh, my Gawd. She touched him! The little," she looked at the teacher and didn't use her word of choice, "She's totally been lying about her power the whole time! She's been faking it to keep people away. It's like, all part of her goth persona."
