Kyle (Ignoble) | 32 comments I'm an author. Hello. *waits for you to be impressed* No novels published. Only poetry. I wish I could do this professionally. All day. Every day. No books to promote since I've only written one and it was garbage. I'm in the middle of the second. *waits for you to sneer disdainfully* ^_^

Haha! I don't think we will! I describe myself as a 'wannabe' author. Its something I have dreamed of since I was about 12, writing a book. For years I start, its utter tripe, and I give up. And thats after about 1000 words. Have never found THE story to write. Not yet. But I'll never give up!

Kyle (Ignoble) | 32 comments I have a motivational issue. You see... in order to make ends meet I have this low paying, crappy job. When I get home from work... I feel like doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. So no writing. Before work... I feel like doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. On my two days off, the first day I feel like doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. On the second day... I write. Hahaha, so writing 1 day a week, on the novel anyways, is slowwww going. I write poetry all the time though.

Kayla Payeur | 6 comments I can see I'm going to have to add more shelves to my library...

I'm a debut author; my first work, Shaping Fate, was actually released just yesterday. I write paranormal romances using Gods, shifters, witches, and anything else my imagination decides to dream up. I'm actually working on editing the third book in this series and the fourth is rattling around in my head. I love to talk to fellow readers and writers, so don't be shy! ;) Here's what my book looks like: Shaping Fate (Fates' Desire #1) by Kayla Payeur

Kerry (caseykerry) Shaken A story of emotional abuse and depression by Kerry Connelly

Hi all. My 2nd title Shaken is due for release this October. please join me for this exciting and important release.

Blurb:
Inspired by her own experiences, Kerry Connelly bravely takes us on a journey into the loneliness and despair of depression while in the midst of an emotionally abusive relationship.

Having had anxieties since childhood, nothing was to prepare her for the violent convulsions and hours of un-controllable sobbing that had started to take over her life, as the stress and trauma of psychological abuse manifested itself in the form of major depressive disorder, sever panic disorder and anxiety with Ocd.

Shaken is the story of one woman’s journey with deteriorating mental health while under the control of an emotional abuser. It serves to acknowledge that any form of psychological abuse at any severity is unacceptable and shows just how quickly the trauma of such can give birth to a variety of mental health issues.

Separated by sections of comprehensive reference and checklist material to inform readers about the signs of emotional abuse and depression, as well as sections of advice and help for friends as well as sufferers, Shaken digs deep into the heart of a woman who hopes to dispel the ignorance and lack of understanding regarding both issues by using her own experiences as an example.

A stark, honest and well written read from the pen of an emotional abuse survivor.

Kayla Payeur | 6 comments The first two books in my Fates' Desire series are now available on Amazon Kindle and Nook!

Shaping Fate (Fates' Desire #1)

She didn’t have a name…
She has lived alone her entire life. Her only companions are the statues she carves and the mysterious man who haunts her dreams. One day, a handsome, golden, angry man suddenly appears on her island…

He was death. Literally…
Thanatos, one of the oldest and most powerful death gods, has secluded himself from anything that will cause emotion. Emotion equals a lack of control, and lack of control means thousands of untimely deaths. He lives alone on his ranch in the Underworld, but when a battered, bloody woman is found unconscious in his high-strung stallion’s stall, he has no choice but to obey the call of her swirling emerald eyes.

A secret worth killing for…
Two Gods band together to destroy Thanatos’s mysterious house guest. Thanatos must keep her safe, and also find a way to resist her warm and honest personality. Just who is his mystifying companion?

Atty may be a Fate, but all she wants is to forget about the past and live life on her own terms. Too bad the man who shattered her heart just showed up in her favorite bar…

Phaunos has always loved Atty, even when he’d been forced to leave her. Now, nothing, not even a manipulative goddess hell bent on murder, is going to stop the forest god from winning the only thing that matters…Atty’s heart.

Kayla Payeur | 6 comments Reviled by her family, Ker has resigned herself to running her club and dragging the odd soul to Hades. She spends her free time collecting powers and avoiding men; especially the silver-eyed God of Espionage.

Ross, the Celtic God of Espionage, is determined to make Ker acknowledge a bond formed thousands of years ago. Ker, however, has a nasty habit of playing vampire every time he sees her. How is a man to convince a hard headed Death Goddess that she's his soul mate?

An old enemy seeking revenge for an ancient wrong may destroy both their plans. Can they survive an eons old vendetta?
