Nick Black (dankamongmen) | 8 comments Howdy everybody!

Edwin A. Abbott's Flatland was released in a lovely hardback circa 2000, along with mathematics popularizer Ian Stewart's extensive annotations (indeed, this edition bears more Stewart text than Abbott).

It (properly) has its own entry, The Annotated Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions (this entry needs be spruced up with an Abbott co-authorship while we're at it). Unfortunately, the earlier (2000) edition of this volume is combined not with the annotated edition, but Abbott's original work. The exact link would be:

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/43...

This needs be uncombined from Abbott's Flatland, and merged with Stewart's Annotated Flatland. I looked around for the rumored "separation tool", but alas could not find it. Zorn!

Thanks!

mlady_rebecca | 591 comments I separated the "Annotated" version (3 editions) out of the normal "Flatland". Let me know if you see any other errors.

w00t, your awesomeness is appreciated! Is that a super-librarian skill or did I just miss something?

mlady_rebecca | 591 comments No, I'm not a super-librarian. I just used the individual separate links at the end each edition on the combine editions page.

I've never tried the separate tool.
