Kendall stood up. "I have to go." She lied. She started walking towards the bottom of the mountain. She had a deep feeling in her stomach. She felt sick. She walked past Larry and started jogging down.

Larry ran after her. "Kendall what did I do wrong?" He asked as she ran
Kendall just shook her head. "Nothing." She said, her voice cracking.
Larry didn't want to do this. "Fine just run away from your problems!" He yelled after her
Kendall stopped and turned on her heels. "I'm doing this for you Larry. I know you want to break up with me. JUST FUCKING SAY IT!" Kendall screamed, stalking back up so she was almost nose-to-nose with him.
After a long pause Larry whispered "I don't want to break up with you, I just don't know if I want to spend my life with you."
Kendall raised an eyebrow. "Who's talking about marriage here?" She demanded. She was utterly confused. Marriage? That was completely off topic.
"No one, it's just I don't want to waste my life with someone I'm not serious about"
Kendall threw her arms in the air. "Then I'm a fucking waste of time to you then." She said. She blinked the angry tears out of her eyes. "Then if you feel that way then I guess we should break up." She said, her voice cracking.
"I'm so sorry" Larry said, in his heart he knew it had to be this way though
Kendall took a deep breath. "Goodbye." She murmured. She ran as fast as she could down the mountain.
Larry left but he knew eventually he could win her back, although he wasn't sure if he wanted to
Kendall wiped her eyes. She was done with guys treating her like that. Like some stupid warm up. She had fallen for it again. Kendall slumped down a tree. Already she was tired. If only she brought some water.
Dylan looked up at the mountains enjoying the scenery.
Steven looked at the mountains, every now and then.
Dylan noticed a person. "Hello." She murmured.
"Hey" he replied, the added "What's your name?"
"Dylan." She replied. "It's pretty eh?" She said
"Ya. It is. By the way, I'm Steven" he replied
"Dylan." She replied. She shook his hand
He shook her hand, "So, what's there to do around these parts? For Fun?"
Dylan shrugged. "I was going for a hike actually."
"Oh...so...uh....how do you like it? At Hill Crest High, I mean?"
"It's cool I guess. I'm stressed out though so I came here."
"Ya, Math is fine and all, but not exactally the funnest subject"
"They are fine, if they aren't a bunch of jerks"
"Oh..that...that's a tough thing, being in High School and having to take care of children"
"I mean Homework from school is enough isn't it?"
"Totally." She said. She checked the time on her watch. "Ugh I have to go. The babysitters shift is ending now." She said. She waved and ran back to her car
