What to do when ISBN is the same but pub date is different?

I managed to get an original copy of John Pike's books "Watercolor" from 1973. However, I am unable to add it because the ISBN is the same as the new one printed today. The original has the correct colors. This is according to an artist (Tom Jones, AWS) who was a student of John Pike. Is there another way to get the 1973 version added to Goodreads? Thank you!

Is there anything different other than the publication date? Is the cover the same?

The cover is also different.

Then you'll want to add an alternate-cover edition.
