Hayden shook her head. "They're going to hurt me." she whispered softly. "They always do." she curled herself into a tight ball and hid her face in her hands.
Beven laid a hand on Haydens shoulders as she ran. But a few minutes later, when they came to a wide set of double door, the doctors grabbed Beven, telling her she said she had to say behind
Hayden didn't look up. She could barely force herself to move her head, let alone try and see her surroundings in her head. She could only do that when she had utmost focus.
Beven struggled against the doctors, screaming Haydens name. She shoved one of the doctors aside and was immeditely tackled by another one. She felt a needle go into her arm, and instantly she felt calm
((uh-oh... Beven lost her cool... lol...))Hayden heard Beven screaming her name, and she wished she could respond. She couldn't respond. Her throat hurt too badly.
Snow was jumping over the doctors but one graved her leg and are her fall down she kickhim off
((haha :) ))Beven was unaware of what was going on, lost in a bliss. She felt big hands on her arms, leading her down a hallway. Somehow she was sitting in a waiting room, having no rememberence of being there
Snow fell on the ground again "Put that needle in me I dare you" she hiss One came from behind and gave her a sleepy needle and put her next to Beven
((who wants to play the doctors? I can't play doctors lol... They're too intimidating...))Hayden shivered and rolled herself onto her side. She was so cold, and she was alone. It was the school all over again. She strained her ears to hear what was going on all around her. She wouldn't let a single detail pass her by.
((I could play one.... or at least try ;) ))Beven sit int the waiting room, swaying in her chair as if the wind outside were moving her.
One doctor slipped a needle into Haydens arm, drawing blood. He walked over to a machine and ran a few tests on it
Snow was sleeping her head on Beven shoulder
((hahaha good. I fail at doctors... badly... thanks!))Hayden struggled as she felt a needle. She bet they were drawing blood. She wished she could see. She'd feel much better if she could. "Don't touch me." she whimpered.
The doctor paided no attention to Haydens pleas and looked at the results. There was a type of bacteria in her that he had not seen beforeBeven felt the drug start to wear off, she began to slowly notice her surrounds
((haha, it was the only thing I could think of ;) ))"Taking samples." the doctor replied simply, as if Hayden should know this already. He called several people over and showed them the results, the muttered over them
Zz
((nigt night fir snow bye :D))
((nigt night fir snow bye :D))
((well, it's better than I would have thought of... AWW BYE SNOW :())"Why?" Hayden asked softly. "What are you doing?" she asked, hearing his muttering.
"We are trying to find out how to cure you." he said as he slipped a mask over Haydens head and put her to sleep
Hayden screeched as she felt herself slipping away. "I'm fine!" She protested weakly as she fell unconscious in a painless sleep away from the throbbing I her head.
The doctors worked quickly, taking blood and injecting her with antibotics. Recording her heart rate, and blood pressure. Eventually they found a treatment for her
((haha me too :) ))They injected her with a medication they created, hoping that it did the trick. They wheeled her down to her own room and ler her sleep
Hayden woke up who knows how much later in a panic. "Where am I?" She shouted. She'd never slept in a bed before, so she was worried. "What do you want with me?" Hayden moved her feet and tried to climb out of her bed. "Beven?" She asked softly, already trying to fin the exit.
A nurse walked in to the room, she was going to give Hayden some medicine to help with the pain she might still be feeling. She saw Hayden out of bed and gently laid her down again.
The nurse kept a straight face. Her hair was in a tight bun on her head and she was wearing purple scrubs. "Dont worry, its ok. What is it that you need?" she asked
"To get out of here. Tell me, where exactly am I?" She asked, focusing on a point she hoped was the nurses eyes. "And what you want from me. And who you are." Hayden didn't show any fear. To show fear in front of a scientist was instant death.
The nurses voice hardened a little. "You are at *insert hosiptal name here* and we have just found a new type of bacteria/virus in your blood. We have treated you and you may leave in a few days." she said simply
Hayden raised her eyebrows. "A few days?" she asked. That wouldn't do. "I would have gotten over it myself faster than that."
The nurse raised an eyebrow, "You sure about that? If you hadnt been taken here, you would have died with in 24hrs." she said coldlyBeven started to stir, trying to remember what happened. She thought so hard, her head started to hurt
Hayden smirked. "Modern medical science. It's stupid. Seriously." what Hayden didn't say was that shed gotten over that sickness at lease seven times. She was still alive.
The nurse competely ignored her and gave her a pill, water, and food.Beven felt the memories tug at her brain. Finally she remembered screaming and Hayden being sick. Immedietly, she stood up and went to search for Haydens room
Hayden didn't take the pill, water, or food. She just waited for Beven or another flock member to show up. She wouldn't consume anything until it was actually confirmed that it was what the nurse said it was.
The nurse tried giving the pill to Hayden again, but failed. Eventually she just gave up and left.Beven tried door after door after door. She walked in on a guy getting a spong bath. EW! She quickly slammed the door shut and saw a nurse leave one room. As the nurse walked away, Beven slipped inside
Hayden refused to take her pill. Last time she took a pill, she got blinded two hours later. Not going to happen again.
Beven entered the room and saw Hayden awake. She was overjoyed and ran to her bedside. "Hayden!" she hugged her
Hayden smiled tightly but didn't move. "What exactly is in my hand?" she asked. "The nurse was stubborn and refused to tell me." she wrapped her arms around Beven in a hug anyway.
Gently Beven pulled back, and looked at Haydens hand. "It looks like oatmeal, juice and a cream pill."
Hayden nodded and set all three on the sidetable, not caring if it fell. She wouldn't take it. "Hi." she said. She scooted over and gave Beven room to sit next to her, hoping she didn't look like she was just dying a few hours ago. She wanted to avoid the topic of her death for as long as possible.
Beven sat down and could tell that Hayden didnt want to talk about what happened, she could see it in her eyes. So she didnt say anything.
Hayden closed her eyes and rested her head against the pillow. She sighed deeply, wishing she could just forget about last night. Hayden inhaled and opened her mouth. "I guess you're wondering what happened, aren't you?"
Hayden bit her lip. "Well, from what I understand, and stating it as simply as possible, I'm dying." she kept her eyes closed.
