Beven looked over at Isabel and nodded. She was trying to get out, but then Jaxs friend showed up, and then he turned into some sort of misty vapor, and decided to chit chat with some strange figure onto of the rocks.

Hayden's eyebrows furrowed, her eyes fluttering. Was that Izzy? She was hardly paying attention, though she was sure there was some sort of commotion. Her head hurt too much to think about it.

"So, you want me to join you and the people down there," she said, gesturing below them, "when I haven't actually met any of you personally...""Then go meet them," Morgan replied, rolling his eyes. "I just did. So yes, I think you should. Go down there, talk, and decide for yourself. I'm not your keeper," he added, sighing. Sarcasm was the lowest form of wit. And he, being a witty person, had little respect for it. "In any case, traveling on your own is a bad idea. So why not milk whatever support you can get? But fine. If you want to be alone, and probably dead sometime soon, be my guest," he finished, closing his wings and plummeting down towards the floor of the canyon. As he hit it, his body turned into smoke, simply stopping and dispersing.
Xanna watched him fall, scowling faintly. She wouldn't admit it, but he'd had some good points. And she knew she had memory problems, so being with them would also help keep the Erasers and whitecoats from messing with her head.. Hopefully. I'm not gonna like this, she thought, standing up and walking down the canyon wall.
Bevens hold on Hayden tightened slightly automatically when the two other people started their descend. All these people made her uneasy and sine longed to flee. But she couldn't do that silently while carrying Hayden and getting Izzy to follow. And then Jax most likely wouldn't leave her friend, and Beven couldn't leave Jax.
Hayden frowned slightly, her fingers reaching for Beven's, though she couldn't find them. What was going on? She could tell there were people, and she'd managed to piece together other pieces, but she still hadn't worked it all out.
Beven managed to grasp Hayden's hand while holding her, though, this sent searing pain up her shoulder and down her back. But she no longer noticed the pain, it no longer mattered. There were always bigger issues, like now for instance. "Two new mutants, twelve feet at two o'clock, one coming down from the rocks, pretty far aways yet. Isabel is next to us-right-and Jax is six feet left. I'm trying to get us out of here," she mumbled silently to Hayden.
"I'm right here, actually. Didn't you see me hit the ground?" Morgan asked, reforming in front of her. He honestly should've been pretty easy to see. "I asked her to ask you to join the flock. She's a bird-kid, like me, but with some cool gravity powers," he explained, gregarious as always.
Hayden strained her ears in an attempt to hear the person talking, and also the distance between them, and possibly their size. Echolocation came in handy. But her head really hurt too much to handle all these noises, as it always did. She clapped her hands over her ears, closing her unseeing eyes tightly and waiting.
((Hayden is blind, she can't see that. And she's sick so she's got a habit of ignoring people. :) ))
Beven tried to look over Haydens body and saw Morgan reforming. Her eyes widened only slightly, having not seen something like that before. How did scientists graft DNA to turn someone into mist? Never mind, she didn't want to know. What went through her mind were dozens of dead kids, failed experiments. "Ummm, okay. How do you know she isn't a spy working for the school? How do you know you can trust her?" she questioned. She didn't even know if she could trust him, even if he was Jaxs friend. Beven had really strong trusting issues.
((Hey Gab! Nothing much I guess... Xanna is coming to meet the flock. And Morgan has met them just recently, I guess you could say that they are all getting to know one another (: ))
((Xanna's currently walking down the cliff, literally, towards them. Your character can talk to her?))
((okay))
Isabel, being a few minutes behind the flock, flew/sprinted to the bottom of the canyon, all the while keeping an eye out for the strange mist Beven had mentioned.

Reaching the bottom of the canyon, Xanna stepped on the ground, taking a small moment to let her senses adjust. She looked towards the bird kid who's flown up to her, then at the people he was with, scowling faintly.
Spying her flock, Isabel quickened her speed. As she lowered, she noticed two possible threats. Not thinking just doing, Isabel dive-bombed and landed protectively in front of the flock. After eying the two kids, she stared them down. "Who are you?" She asked with her shoulders squared and arms crossed.
Protective much? Xanna thought, but her expression didn't change. "Xanna," she answered, not bothering to lie. Nodding toward the winged kid who'd flown up to her, she said, "And I'm pretty sure he's with you guys now."
Isabel kept her protective stance and asked Beven without emotion, "Is she telling the truth?". Never once did she take her calculating stare off of them.
Beven looked from Izzy to Morgan and then to the girl who called herself Xanna. She honestly didnt know if Morgan was with them, could she trust him? At the moment, she couldn't tell, so she said the only thing she knew for sure. "He's Jax's friend, I only just met him." Under normal circumstances, she would have been standing in front with Izzy, but she was still holding Hayden, and her feet didnt feel like they would move if she tried.
"I'm the pizza delivery guy. Didn't you guys order anchovies?" Morgan asked sticking his tongue out.
Hayden offered a faint smile, though every movement hurt her head. "They're not lying about their names," she offered weakly. She could tell; Hayden had long since found ways to detect lies in people's voices.
Isabel narrowed her eyes at the wise-guy and unfolded her arms. Ignoring his comment, she took a deep breath and looked to Xanna. "Do you know each other too?"
Isabel thought about what Hayden said but then thought about how some serial killers didn't lie about their names either.
Xanna considered the girl's question, silent for a moment. When she spoke, she had pretty much no emotion in her voice. "Other than when he flew up to me a minute ago, no, I am not familiar with him." She didn't enjoy saying it, but she did. They might not be bad, she silently reminded herself, though it didn't make her feel any better.

Isabel made no comment but gave a slow nod. Maybe they were okay, but she would need more convincing if she were to trust them.
Beven sighed, and thought for a moment before responding. "We are trying to get out of the canyons. We have just lost the school, and they have seen to giving up on chasing us for now. Do you know how to get out, without flying?" she said slowly. If these people wanted to turn them into the schooll they would have given some sort of signal, right? And if they didn't get out of these canyons soon they would die. She was sure of it.
"Why can't we fly? But, anyway, the way out's through this cave a mile or so ahead of here. It's behind some cacti, so it's hard to see, but it's there. My smoke is already scouting ahead of us," Morgan said, smiling. He loved being helpful to kind people.
Beven looked at Morgan and shrugged, biting her lip as she did so. "Just can't right now," she mumbled, not wanting to bring up her broken wing or how it had happened. Right now, she only wanted to just get out of these caves. At least there was a way out, that much she was thankful for. "Smoke?" she asked curiously
