Beven hugged Hayden tightly. "It's alright," she said quietly. "It's just Kevin, Jax, and Jade," she murmured quietly in her ear
((I don't want her healed just yet...))Hayden twisted away, curling closer to Beven. "Beven they're too loud! There's too many voices!"
Beven rubbed Hayden's arm comfortingly. "So are we just going to sit out here in the rain and chat? Because if we do continue to chat, I would either like to be walking or taking cover," she said, feeling the ran scorch her exposed skin.
Jax walked over to Hayden, "Hayden? It's me, Jax." She said quietly to her friend. "I'm not a just voice in your head. I'm real, I'm here, wherever here is and whatever here looks like. But in here." Jax told her gently while putting a hand on her friend, a touch only the two blind girls would understand.
Hayden tensed slightly whn she felt another hand on her, but relaxed when she realized it was Jax. "There's too many voices," she sobbed.
Beven wrapped her arm tighter around Hayden. "Lets just try to get to a town so we can get things sorted out. As much as possible anyway. It cant be good to be sitting in the rain like this."
"Will there be sausages there?" Hayden asked softly, closing her eyes tightly and resting her tired head on Beven's shoulder. "I really want sausages."
Beven rubbed Haydens arm as they started walking. "Maybe there will be," she said softly. "Ill try and find you some," she promised.
Jax sighs as her cat like ears pick up the potter patter sound of the rain, and her eyes turn into a crystal blue color.
Hayden closed her eyes, her knees starting to shake slightly. "My head still hurts," she said softly. "Really badly."
"Beven?" Jax asks quietly, it had been a few weeks since she had last spoken with her friends. "Did the cure... did it work?" She asks quietly.
Beven sighed and rested her head lightly on top of Haydens. "I know, sweetie," she mumbled softly before turning to Jax. "We haven't tried it. She doesn't want to. She could end up deaf, but her sight could come back. Hayden doesn't want to take that chance," she answered softly, hearing their footsteps slap the wet ground as they moved.
Hayden sighed softly, her balance wobbling. "I really don't feel good," she said softly. "I feel dizzy..."
Jax nods and sighs, "They did something in those last few months I was there. ((She was there for like 4 months according to all the times skips there)) They gave me my sight back, for two days, then they just, they took it away again." She whispers, on the verge of a mental breakdown, and a physical one, she was practically all skin and bones, with hardly any muscle at all. She looked anorexic.
Beven glanced at Hayden worriedly, lifting her head up. "Do you need to rest? We could try moving again when the rain stops," she suggested before turning to Jax, slightly wide eyed. "They did?" she breathed silently
Jax nods, a small test escaping her eye. "Everything was so bright, they showed me the real world, flowers, mountains. It was beautiful, and then they just... they just took it all away."
Hayden shook her head, letting a bit more of her weight fall against Beven. "No..." She said softly. "I'm fine..."
"Im sorry Jax," Beven said softly, sincerely. She couldn't even begin to comprehend the impact that had on Jax. But she could relate, having something taken from you. She wrapped her arms strongly around Hayden. "Your not fine, we will stop."
Jax just nods numbly, her body weak from the underfeeding. She didn't think that Beven noticed since she hasn't commented.
Beven shook her head, and walked over to a sheltered area in the rocks. She ducked underneath and pulled both Jax and Hayden in after her. "Don't worry about you? That's never going to happen."
Hayden slumped against Beven, all of the tension leaving her muscles. "Bev," she mumbled. "I don't feel good..."
Jax coughed from where she was a felt a warm sticky substance on her hand. "Beven?" Jax asks timidly.
Beven sat down, pulling both Jax and Hayden close to her. "It will be okay, sweetie. Just hang in there," she said softly, tightening her arm around her slightly not knowing what else to do. There wasn't much for her to do. She turned to Jax, eyes widening slightly. "Jax...."
Beven nodded. "Yeah, it is...." she said softly, breaking off feeling Hayden go limp next to her. Most people would have taken that as a good thing, but not her. "Hayden, Hayden?" she repeated worriedly.
Hayden didn't move, completely unconscious against Beven. Her body had fallen limp, her breathing still.
((HEY GAB! They are in they caves and Hayden is getting sick again. they have the cure, but she hasn't taken it yet because of the side effect. It could leave her deaf. Jax just escaped the school and was coughing up blood))Bevens eyes frantically scanned Hayden. "No, no no," she mumbled as she shook her head. "Hayden, Hayden!"
Hayden didn't move, entirely limp. Entirely still. She might as well have been dead, for all the movement she did.
((HEY MADS, thanks for the update lol(: ))
Isabel was kneeling next to her with an anxious expression. "Hayden?"
Isabel was kneeling next to her with an anxious expression. "Hayden?"
((No problem! (: ))Beven felt Haydens wrist for a pulse. To a slight relief, there was a light beat. "Hayden," she said desperately. Whats been going on with her? Its been worse then normal. She gave Izzy a worried look, biting her lip
Hayden's breath sped up, slightly more noticeable now, but she didn't wake. She was out like a light, no waking up soon.
Jax's coughing slowly subsided, the red sticky liquid staining her hands. She headed out of the cave, the others didn't need to worry about her right now, they needed to take are of Hayden, she would just be a burden to them.
Beven frowned as she watched Jax leave the cave. She was just coughing blood, moving around like that wasn't the best idea. Though, she had no control of anyone elses actions, as much as she wished she did at times. She could feel Hayden's breathing quicken slightly by the rise and fall of her chest.
