((haha, no, trust me, I can do pretty crappy if I try. XD my six liners... ahhhhhh, I love writing those XD))"It's not?" Hayden asked softly. "Wouldn't someone notice us hiding? How close are we?"
((Haha lol CC (: but the library was closed!!! I'll have to go tomorrow))"It wouldn't be too hard. Just take a room no one is using," Beven explained, from experience. "We are in Colorado, probley miles from any town. The school likes to keep a low profile," she said sadly
((ASDFGHJKL LIBRARIES SHOULDN'T CLOSE!!!!!!))Hayden nodded slowly. "That's a long way to walk with me sick and you injured," she pointed out.
((Gah I know. It breaks my heart!))Beven nodded. "That's why we are staying here for a bit longer," she said, just hoping that the rain would give them enough time to just recover a bit.
((THEY NEED TO BE OPEN 24/7!!!!!))"How much longer is a bit?" Hayden asked curiously, closing her eyes and hoping that it would be a while.
((Yes! I'm going to try and get a Job there next summer. I will keep it open all day and night!))Beven looked outside, it was just downpouring. The sound normally would have been welcoming to a normal person, but it was terrifying to her. "A day about," she guessed.
((Yes! I hear it pays really well!))"A day?" Hayden asked softly "You think I'll be better by then?"
((Who cares about the money! I'll be surrounded by books all day!))Beven sighed. "Honestly, I don't think either of us will be fully better. But we should be well enough to move," she said softly
((YEESSSSSSSSS THAT TOO!!!!!))Hayden bit her lip. "Well enough to move," she agreed softly. "My head still hurts, Bev."
((Haha, it's where I like to spend my time anyway! Might as well get paid for it now. (: ))Beven bit her lip. "Just lay low, relax," she said softly, knowing you couldn't do much more. It's not like they had much space to move around or could go anywhere. The erasers couldn't pick up a scent on them if they tried, the rain washed that way
((Yeah, I know, right?))"Right," Hayden said softly, curling up in Beven's lap. "I don't feel good at all."
Beven stroked Hayden's hair reflexively. "I know," she said sadly. "Rest up and get better. We will get this figured out."
"You think so?" she asked softly, closing her eyes. "Everything hurts. All of me. Like I was just put in experiments," Hayden bit her lip.
"I know so," Beven answered softly. "You weren't thrown into experiments," she assured, knowing it wasnt an even pleasant thought to think. But honestly, all this was just one long experiment that never ended
"I know we weren't," Hayden said softly, curled up in her lap. "I hurt so badly. Why do I hurt so much?"
Beven wished she had an answer, but she didnt. She didnt know why Hayden was getting sick, she haven't been in any fights. "I don't know," she said honestly.
Hayden whimpered, wrapping her arms around herself. "Do you have any of those painkillers?" she asked softly.
Beven shook her head sadly. "When the school took us, they took everything we had," she answered sadly, otherwise she would have given them to Hayden by now
Hayden sighed softly. "Okay," she said softly, covering her ears slightly. "I think it's that gas that caused my headache," she said after a moment. "The stuff that knocked us out."
Beven nodded slowly, it did make sense. "You think there could have been something in it. More then just gas to make us pass out?" she questioned
"I'm not sure," Hayden admitted tiredly. It was probably just regular gas, and she reacted. Her head wasn't very strong. "It's probably just me."
Beven nodded, she really didnt feel any different. Well, besides the pain in her wing, shoulder, and her hand. But that didnt have to do with the gas. "If its the gas, it should wear off. None of it is meant to be permanent."
Hayden nodded in agreement, wincing at the movement. "It should wear off eventually. But when is that?"
Beven stroked Haydens hair softly. "I dont know honestly. I think it should be by the time we leave. A day," she proposed.
"I shouldnt be. But at least theres someone," Beven said quietly. But Haydens question threw her off slightly. Why would she know why it hurt? "I dont know why Hayden. I wish I did. Maybe it has to do with your sickness."
Beven sighed sadly, wishing not for the first time, that she could do something. "We'll get you fixed."
Beven smiled softly. "Your not? So that would explain why you dont have an off switch," she teased lightly.
"You dont. You have no off switch," Beven assured. Which was a good thing, you didnt want an off switch. It would be like an expiration date that she has seen on Erasers. That was how she had been able to escape when she was younger.
((haha, that reminded me of fang. Immortal.... gee bad plot twist..))Beven shook her head. "No it doesnt. But it means other people dont control when you die," she said slowly, knowing that she couldnt say Hayden would live forever. Everyone died, you couldnt get around that.
((Gahhh I know. Btw Hayden is loopy or something XD))Hayden giggled. "I'm immortal!" She said giddily.
((Oh yeah, loopy. Haha, what have you done to her?!))Beven frowned slightly. Was that a good thing that Hayden was saying that? Did it give her confidence, or was something going to her head?
((HAHAHAHAHA I don't know yet. Only made her more entertaining XD))Hayden giggled, stretching out on her back. "What are these?" She wiggled her fingers. "What are they?"
((She's delusional!!! Crazy, beyond loopy!))Beven frowned and raised her eyebrows. "Fingers," she answered slowly. Something was defiantly up.
((Hehe but I dunno why XD ))Hayden frowned. "No they're not." She said. "These are sausages," she said decidedly.
((Maybe she could be having an allergic, or just some kind of bad reaction to the gas that knocked them out? I dont know, hmmm XD))Beven raised an eyebrow and cocked her head to the side slightly. "They arent sausages. You can eat sausages, but not your fingers. Which is what they are."
((Haha, I might disappear soon, though... The internet has been down all day and is going to be shut off soon))Beven's eyes went wide. "No!" she said strongly before grabbing both Hayden's hands and lowering them from her mouth and to her lap.
((Bwahhhhhhhh nooooooooo!!!!!!))Hayden frowned. "But they're sausages," she pointed out. "I can eat them."

"It's not hard to sneak into a hotel," Beven mused. "Anywhere will be better. We are too close for the school for comfort."
