"I wasn't saying I was tired." Hayden said indignantly.

"Who said I was talking about you? Im pooped," Beven said, she didnt want Hayden to think that Beven was catoring to her or babying her
"I don't think you are." Hayden retorted. "You don't sound tired."
"I'm good at hiding my feelings," Beven responded
Hayden laughed. "If you say so." she said softly, rubbing her head
"I do!" Beven said confidently and happily
Hayden laughed softly, cringing when it sent spikes of pain to her head. "Okay." she whispered.
Beven smiled weakly at her. She thought they should land in no more than 30 minutes. Just enough so that they had enough space between them and the eraser attack
Hayden bit her lip. "Are you smiling?"
"Leafs are green" Jade yelled as she teleported ahead. She teleported back. "There is a cave about 17 miles ahead. " She says.
"Ok, we can rest there. Thanks Jade," Beven said
Hayden nodded. "Seventeen miles is five minutes."
Beven flew and within five to ten minutes, they made it to the cave. She landed in the lip of the cave and walked inside
Hayden landed clumsily, folding up her wings and sitting on the ground.
Jade free fell down rolling into the cave landing ninja style.
"Nice ninja roll. I give it a 10." Beven teased and started a fire in the middle of the cave so they could see
Hayden leaned against the wall, her eyes closed. "It sounded like a seven." she commented weakly.
Jade smiled. "I knew a girl at school who did an awesome ninja. But I think she died. She was really nice. She was tall, pretty, asain. We where best friends in the school." Jade said wistfully.
Hayden smiled. "I've never really had a friend..."
"Well the girl was nice" Jade said.
"You guys don't count as friends." Hayden assured, realizing what she'd said. "You're family."
((They had an eraser attack, and are now in a cave, safe))
Hayden sighed, leaning against the wall and trying not to focus on her headache. She hated fights. It was unfair that she couldn't fight without suffering a painful, sleepless night.
Beven sat down against a wall near Hayden
((lol, *yawn*))Hayden let her eyes flutter shut, her head throbbing. She'd try to remember to move away from the wall before she fell asleep to avoid hitting her head again.
Beven decided to keep watch, knowing that the others needed sleep
((DOES Beven ever sleep?))Hayden sighed, drawing her knees to her chest, and resting her chin on them heavily.
((Haha, hardly ever, she puts others first ;) ))
((I'll make her sleep later. Hayden will force her to.))Hayden closed her eyes. She wanted to sleep, since she was tired, but she knew she couldn't.
((Haha, good luck!))Beven started humming, sometimes it seemed to calm Hayden. She hoped it worked this time too
((I will take that in a literal sense. Thank you.))Hayden relaxed a little. Why did she have to go through this? She didn't do anything wrong? She was a thirteen year old girl who'd been blind for ten years and never wanted anything but sight. Where did nightly torment come into play?
Beven continued to hum a soft tune. She moved closer to Hayden and rubbed her back gently
Snow woke up a little later and kick Beven to horrible to sleep "My watch you sleep" she said in go to sleep or I will murder you tone
Hayden shivered, her arms wrapped around her knees. She was sick again. She didn't want to be sick anymore. She just wanted it all to be over. No more sickness. No more pain. No more blindness. But that wouldn't happen.
Beven shook her head at Snow, "I'm good. Ill sleep in a few hours when I know that Hayden is asleep." she said stubornly
Hayden mumbled something, fidgeting and tossing as she rolled onto her side, shaking her head faintly.
Beven continued to hum and rub Haydens back, wishing she could take away the nightmares.
Hayden hugged her knees tightly, her breathing becoming slightly more rapid. Her head still throbbed, but she had no intention of waking up. She really needed sleep.
Beven stroked Haydens hair soothingly. She would wake her if she started thrashing again. Her head was away from the wall, Beven made sure of that
Hayden relaxed a little, her grip on her knees relenting as her arms fell limp beside her body. Her breathing slowed, but her heart still sped.
Hayden relaxed eventually, falling into a real sleep.
Beven was relieved, Hayden needed this sleep
Hayden curled around herself gently, a deep sleep over her.
Beven looked around the cave. It was a lot shorter than the other one they stayed in, so it was most likely well hidden.
