Hayden nodded. "Got it." she said, hugging herself tightly.

Beven landed behind a large building, and directed Hayden down too. Once Hayden landed, Beven whispered, "You never answered my question. You alright, somethings wrong."
Hayden bit her lip as she landed with a stumble. "I didn't answer because an answer will hurt." she said through clenched teeth, her head throbbing. "But something's always wrong. It was the fight..." she said, wobbling a little.
Beven nodded sadly, wishing there was something she could do. But all she could give was support. "Lets take a break and rest up then." she said and helped Hayden sit down. They were behind a large, old building, so there were no people around
Hayden nodded and leaned against the wall, her head resting on her knees, which were drawn to her chest. "I like that idea..." she said, trailing off.
Beven smiled weakly and sat down next to Hayden. She wrapped her arms around her, comfortingly. No one should have to go through that kind of pain everyday, she was only 13
Hayden bit her lip, her shoulders shaking. Her head was screaming at her and her stomach clenched at the thought of having to move later. Hayden tightened her grip on her knees and closed her eyes.
"Try and sleep," Beven cooed and rubbed her arm. She could see the pain in Haydens eyes and it made her sick to her stomach, nothing she could do.
Hayden nodded and whimpered with the movement. "Okay." she breathed. She wrapped her arms tighter around herself. She tried to clear her mind enough to sleep.
Beven gently pulled Hayden down so her head rested on her lap. She tried to get Hayden to relax and let go of her knees
Hayden hugged herself tightly, her eyes clenched tightly shut. Her head was throbbing, and she felt horrible all over. She clenched her small hands into fists and whimpered.
Hayden tensed as she felt Beven rubbing her back, but she relaxed momentarily. She loosened her grip on her knees very slightly, her mind finally free enough to let her at least leave the pain of her sickness slightly. Not enough to fall asleep, though.
Beven faultered a bit in her humming when Hayden tensed, but kept going as if it never happened. When she felt her relax, she smiled and continued to rub her back in little circles
Hayden shivered and let go of her knees, even though they were still curled up to her chest. She turned slightly and then lost herself in a half awake half asleep state.
Beven leaned against the wall and continued to hum and rub Haydens back thoughtlessly. She made sure to keep aware of her surroundings
Now sound asleep, Hayden whimpered as her horrible dreams played over again. Not scary, just terrible for making her remember the way she wished things were.
Beven stopped humming and ran her fingers though Haydens hair. If her nightmares became worse, she would wake her up. But right now, there was nothing more than sleep that Hayden needed
Hayden whimpered softly as she rolled onto her other side. She hugged herself tightly, her arms wrapped around her stomach, and curled her knees back up to her chest. "Don't." she mumbled, softer than a kitten's purr.
Beven bit her lip and rubbed Haydens shoulder. She looked down at Hayden despretely, wishing that she could take some of the pain away
Hayden tossed again. "Don't even try this time." she murmured, hugging herself harder now. "I've accepted it." she shifted, a whimper escaping her lips.
Beven wanted to wake Hayden up, but she hasnt screamed or thrashed yet. Only mumbled, so Beven let her sleep, she needed it despretely
Hayden shivered, not out of fear, but because she was cold, as usual. She tossed again, her brain throbbing in her skull. "Don't worry. I've accepted my fate, dad." she breathed. "I'm going to die. I'll live with it..." she whimpered. Hayden wished she wasn't mumbling in her sleep, but she couldn't help it. Something was causing her to.
Hayden shivered. "No, Daddy." she protested. "I'll be fine." she shook her head faintly. "They have no idea."((OMG I have an idea!!))
((Do tell!))Beven looked down at Hayden, what did she mean? Hayden wouldnt keep secrets from her, she promised
((So you remember the guy from the ATM machine? The one on the phone who was angry?))Hayden rolled again, her dream going dark. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no." She whimpered, her breathing speeding rapidly. "No, no, no."
((Ya))Beven was getting close to waking Hayden up, a few more seconds... Maybe she would calm down, hopefully
((So, I'm thinking he's Hayden's father. And he's watching them, ready to take them all back to the School at a moment's notice. And Hayden's pretending to be in on his plan so she can 'get rid of him.'))Hayden shuddered, kicking at the air by her feet. "Don't touch me!" she squealed, rolling over. "Leave me alone!" she whimpered, tears running down her cheeks.
((Sounds like a plan!))It was time to wake Hayden up. Beven gently shook her shoulders, "Hayden, hayden come back to me."
((hehehehehe I feel smart!!!))Hayden screamed as she felt someone shaking her shoulders. "Leave me alone." she whimpered, tears running in thick rivers down her pale cheeks. "Don't hurt me, daddy." she whimpered, her dream trapping her in its long, dark fingers--metaphorical of course.
Hayden jumped, then opened her eyes. "What?" she asked with a whimper. She tried to stand up, but fell to the ground the moment she put weight on her feet. She whimpered as she felt another tear roll down her cheek.
Beven pulled Hayden down close so her head rested against her shoulder. Beven took her thumb and whipped away the fresh tears under her eyes. "What were you mumbling about?" she asked
Hayden tensed. "What do you mean?" she asked, knowing exactly what Beven meant, but didn't want to say a word. She was still trying to figure out how to dispose of her father without any violence.
Hayden sighed. "Him again." she mumbled along a with a small curse under her breath. "I'm sick of him!" she whimpered, tears rolling down her cheeks.
Beven decided to drop the subject for now. She would try again later. Now was just too soon, it was all probley still to fresh in her mind. "Its ok Hayden," she said softly and ran her thumb under her eyes to dry the flowing tears
Hayden shook her head. "No." she whimpered. "It's not." she wanted to tell Beven everything. Her father, her futile attempts to save their lives, and her treachorousness. She was just a blind girl, she couldn't do it all. She didn't want them to hate her just yet.
Beven gently rocked Hayden back and forth thoughtlessly. "It will be, Im going to make sure." she said determinded. Beven wasnt going to let someone, who was basically her sister now, suffer like this
Bevens kindness just made Hayden feel ten times worse because she was so horrible. Hayden wrapped her arms around herself and sobbed, her heart breaking.
Beven held Hayden tighter, hoping she would be alright. She moved one hand to feel if she still had a fever
I am such a horrible person Hayden thought. She cried softly, her heart snapping. She still felt terribly sick, but her remorse and guilt were far worse, which was saying a lot since her head felt like it was about to explode.
Hayden was still warm, which made Beven worry. She squeezed Hayden before making her look at Beven. "I need you to know that Im here for you and you can tell me anything," she said and pulled her close again
Hayden bit her lip, but said nothing, curling her arms around herself. Her tears wouldnt stop, and her head pounded insanely hard.
Isabel broke through a window and wandered around inside the building. As she looked around, she saw some pencils on the floor. She tensed at the sight of drawing material. Her fingers twitched as they had a mind of their own and reached for a pencil. This is so not the time for this. She thought to herself. She grit her teeth and spun on her heel slowly. She continued to look around the room alone with the thought of how Beven was already suspicious.
Hayden whimpered, her breathing speeding to an erratic shallow sound. Her heart pounded faster, but not as hard as her head, and her face was covered in tears. "I feel horrible." she said between erratic breaths.
Hayden shook her head violently. "Just--don't--go--anywhere," she said between ragged and shallow breaths. She tried to slow her breathing, but that was so hard when her head pounded like someone was hitting it over and over with a rock. Very hard. She choked on a sob as more tears ran down her cheeks.
