Hayden whirled on Beven. "I seriously hope you're not an Eraser with good imitation skills." she mumbled. "Let's blow this joint."

Isabel saw the two injured girls and ran to help them. She kicked one of the erasers in the face and then roundhouse punched him in the stomach. There were only two of them left. She felt confident strutting up to them and kicking and punching like an MMA champion.
"Agreed," Beven said and looked around. She saw an emergency exit, but it was blocked by erasers. Beven was going to regret this later with all the witnesses around them, but lit something near her on fire to make the sprinklers go off. While the erasers were distracted, Beven pulled everyone, including the mystery girl, out the door
Isabel was surprised to being pulled along with the other girls. Her heArt was still racing . She shook the girls grip off and ran behind them to make sure they weren't attacked from behind.
"I am," Beven said confidently, she whispered only so Hayden could hear, "But I dont know what to do about her." she nodded her head towards the other girl
Isabel heard everything the one girl whispered but it was because of the super enhanced hearing she received at the School. It was a curse and a gift in its own. She rolled her eyes and smirked, understanding their cautious manner.
Beven lightly patter her on the back and said, "Ok, lets take off. If she is one of us, she will come with. If she is human, we wont see her again and no one would believe her if she told people she saw flying kids with wings."
"I dont care about them, we're behind a building, there are none." Beven said and she described their surroundings so Hayden wouldnt run into anything when she took off
Hayden shrugged, keeping her eyes closed. It didn't make a difference in the minor headache she had. "Your call. How many steps to takeoff?"
Isabel unfurled her wings and rose about five feet off the ground. "Does that answer your question about my species?" She smiled friendily at them and gestured with her hands for them to hurry up.
"Take ten running," Beven directed and took off before Hayden, to direct her just in case. She took a running start and unfurled her wings. She looked at the other girl, "I guess so."
Hayden almost stopped dead. "What just happened?" she asked, unfurling her wings and cautiously counting steps.
Hayden stiffened. "Why don't you tell us yours first?" she asked. She hated being curt, but she had to be careful with only four senses.
"Beven," she said, not taking her eyes off this girl. She was studying every trait about her, so if it came down to it, she would have something against her
"Beven, what kind of weird look is she giving me?" Hayden asked, wondering if 'Isabel' had figured out she was blind yet. She coughed softly.
"She's looking at you curiously and raised an eyebrow." breathed Beven without moving her lips. Appearently this girl had even more enhanced hearing than they did. It was impossible for her to hear Beven's response
Hayden nodded. "okay." she said, not bothering to be quiet. If this girl heard her, fine. It didn't bother Hayden. "I'm Hayden." she said, not looking in her direction.
Isabel had noticed that the one girl had something wrong with her but she wasn't sure until she really studied her and realized she was blind. It didn't matter to her, it actually made her admire her, considering how well she could fight. "Nice to meet you guys." She said with the wind in her face.
Hayden didn't say anything. She couldn't see--duh--anything in Isabels face that would make her seem like a liar. All she had to go on was tone of voice, and she didn't detect anything untrustworthy.
Isabel eyes darkened a little bit, "Yea...just me. I managed to escape those flea bags until they found me at the mall. Well, I did kinda jump on one of their backs but that's not the point." She was now smiling again "is it just you two?"
Beven smiled, "No, theres a few more of us. Your welcome to come join us if you want. I dont think Kevin would mind." she flew a bit higher so if anyone looked up, Beven would look like a big bird
Hayden didn't answer, not going to take the liberty of giving personal information. "Beven, we're headed in the wrong direction. We're supposed to head northeast. This is northwest." Hayden grabbed Bevens arm and turned her in the right direction.
"Fiiine..." Beven said exagurally and let Hayden tug her in the right direction before she started flying
Hayden shrugged. "I could have let you drag me around forever even when I knew it was the wrong direction." she said with a cough.
Beven sighed, "Just more work for you, we would have to fly alllll they way back and find our way back." she smiled
Hayden shivered. "Youd be the one carrying a dying teenager in your arms." she countered with a cough.
Isabel smiled and swooped down, she was happy to meet others of her kind that accepted her...sorta.
"Uh.." She thought to her talents and became unusually shy because she felt that her talents were stupid. "I can hear anything pretty much and I uh...draw." She didn't care to elaborate on her rare art talent that definitely was not just drawing.
Hayden nodded. She had always wanted to draw. She'd never done it before. "That's cool." she said wistfully.
"Draw?" Beven asked curiously, "Like with paints and pencils?" she asked excitedly, she had only heard about these things.
"Only when they were uh testing me...Otherwise I can pretty much draw with any material." And much more than that ,a voice in the back of her head said.
Haden sighed and dropped a few feet in altitude so the two girls could have a conversation without her in the middle. She coughed softly and closed her eyes, hoping her headache would diminish.
"Sure" she said but she wasn't sure she could actually teach someone to draw without the picture jumping out, literally.
"So.." Isabel said wanting to change the subject and be her happy self again. "Where are we going?"
Beven smiled and flew, reconizing some of the buildings as ones she flew by on her way to the mall. So she was going in the right direction, good. "The rest of the flock is in a clearing in a forest," Beven answered
Beven smiled, she thought she could trust this girl. Well at least enough to know that Isabel wouldnt kill Beven in her sleep
Hayden stiffened. "Do either of you see that?" she asked, not knowing how she saw the big thing moving toward them in her head. But it was so far away that no one would be able to see it.
Isabel coasted on the light breeze, relaxed. Her ears perked up when she heard Hayden say she saw something. I thought she was blind... she speculated to herself.
