Vicki Lackey I just finished reading The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and loved it. I generally like historical novels. Can anyone make some suggestions for a new read?

This has stories about jewel thieves, arctic expeditions, museum renovations, and crazed people wandering in jungles and deserts, collecting for the museum. Very entertaining and informative for such a short book.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads (susannag) | 1736 comments The Duchess of Bloomsbury Street is the sequel to 84, Charing Cross Road.

I really like Colleen McCullough's The First Man in Rome series.
